HI
i am new member of this forum. i have a question. i got my 2nd file number on Feb 28, 2011 , in this letter we received new file number and said (( You must quote this file number in any future correspondence)) but in online check application status , i can't check my status with this new file number(2nd file number) and still i check it with my first file number. can anybody help me , how can i enter 2nd file number?

Hi, It may seem funny, But i cant check with non of them. I contacted with the My VO (Damascus) 2 weeks ago... No answer yet. I also cann't check my application online with new file number i think it is common problem

yea may be because ur last name has changed so try the first and second and third , try multiples
because my case was first when it was in cic , i check the name with first second third all together
then when my second AOR recieved i check with the new number , but the name became the third only
so try diff conbination with the new AOR

Dear eliya, dont get confused with it. I also had the same problem and when I communicated with my vo with the new file number they replied me that they are unable to recognise my file and I was so surprise to hear that from them when i had the hard copy of the 2nd AOR with me. Later I scan the 2nd AOR and then also the first file number and only then they could recognise me. Then they replied me and mentioned both the file number in the subject of the mail with the below format FirstFile#(GCMS)/SecondFile# I am able to check my capps using the 1st file number. So whenever you give a case specific query just mention the file number in the above format and it will help them recognise you. Thnx |

Further to your answer, i would like to mention taht it also indicates that you are qualify as per your documents if you would not qualify as per your paper then they simply return back your application alongwith the reason of return instead of sending you the AOR. |
