well there is no harm to apply again with new NOC, many applicants did the same. you can withdraw one at later stage when one of them get finalized. You will just loose few bucks of money only. and yes just take care not to make much alteration so that CHC get suspicious.

Sadika you have already crossed 5 months so in my opinion you should wait for few more months.

hi,
I really agree with you guys.

the discussion has been made already, pls have a look at:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/discussion-pre26june-2010-applicants-at-cio-but-occupation-under-29-noc-list-t65428.0.html;msg628288#msg628288

Dear all,

It seems like the CIO and VO are giving high preference to the Post 26June applicants under 29 occupation list (as per todays case, they are already having the medical and passport request). I am wondering if someone, like me, who have applied as pre 26 June applicant at CIO, but having his/her occupation list under 29 NOC list, and have sent full documents to VO will be treated differently.

My question here is IF THERE IS THE HIGH DEMAND FOR THOSE 29 OCCUPATIONS, why should we NOT be included like those of post 26 june applications, and why NOT the process of our application should be as fast as them???

Any comments and discussions are highly appreciated.

lamhey

And as I have already posted, the processes are totally different. >J26 had all their documents gathered BEFORE they applied, and CIO did the eligibility review and selection/admissability/67 point count etc. So when at visa office they go straight to background/medicals stage.

<J26 have to wait for visa office to do eligibility review and selection/admissability review and this is why there is a much bigger delay between 2nd AOR and issuing medical requests.

IMO people are not thinking logically when trying to compare May/June applications with June 26 onwards. And I stand by my opinion that >J26 are not getting "priority" but things appear to be happening faster because they have this different process, designed to make things faster.

No I am not taking things personally, it is just like one who is in that situation can understand it better. May be you are right about London VO cuz you are analyzing it closely. One of my aunt works in CHC New Delhi and that is told by her that CIC asks VOs to work faster on some chosen categories/NOCs in particular time.
We want CIC to make their process faster and better but not for some applicants but for all. That was only my concern.

Well in order to make things faster for all applicants it would be pretty infeasible to go back in time and change the process for <J26 applicants and get thousands of applications and send them back to CIO for eligibility review/selection admissability, wouldn't you agree? Smiley

The situation may well be different at different visa offices, since obviously I am not well placed to comment on visa offices which I am not carefully monitoring.

But I can say with reasonable certainty that at London office >J26 are not getting priority Smiley
