If anyone in this thread had their application LOST BY CIO, please post your details on the thread "LOST APPLICATIONS".  We are hearing of a number of Post 26/6 apps that were received by CIO and now they have no idea where they are.  This is serious and we wish to get a sense of the number involved.  Anyone directly affected is encouraged to make their concerns known to the Minister.  Thanks.

i have some queries,
1. we have made bank FD for required amount and should i send original FD certificate as POF or copy of that ?
2. if there is no change in my app still i need to write any cover letter ?

Hi Lakhvinder,

I think you can still write cover letter. In my cover letter, I provided very brief explantion on changes to application, proof of funds (accumated over a period of time, etc.), reasons for  missing employee reference letters, and also mentioned that I am sending RPRF.

In your case, you can write that you have FD certificate for proof of funds, etc.
I am not sure about FD certificate/Copy. I did not use FD. Hopefully, somebody else can answer this..

I will be also joining that thread, as Im sending my docs. by 3rd week of november.

Once we start using online spreadsheets, the thread doen't really matter. I will however start the thread for Oct-Nov-Dec. If you and Lakhvinder join, it will be cool!
