I have sent my full docs to New Delhi Visa Office yesterday. It was delivered today morning.

This is what I have done (may not be correct/best way of doing things):

I have filled up the Schedule1 form to reflect my current employment status. The rest of the forms are old ones.

I have submitted the PCCs I got in July first week. Since I am sending my documents to VO before post-June26 people start sending their applicaitons, I thought there will be less confusion about 3month-old-limit on PCCs. I have also atatched RPRF.

I have created index sheets and used them as file seperators. Put entire documents in one plastic envelope and shipped with Bluedart. The whole package weighed around 1KG.

Hope this information helps..

Congratulations srid !! Hope u will get 2nd AOR soon. Wish u all the best.

I want to know about work related papers ...wat u have sent apart from reference letters like salary slips, account statement and form 16, appraisal letters.. Actually i have all docs available for my current job and for one previous job but i never kept all docs for my first job, i just have reference letter and relieving letter only and if i ask them to issue me again then docs will look like new and it can create problem. am really confused wat shud i do ? please suggest .
Do u have consultant or doing yourself ?

my ielts score is requires 0.5 in listening or speaking.
If i go for a new exam and the new scores are better in listening and speaking but less at reading and writing, can i send the two results or they must be all in one exam result?
I heared they can accept to different valid results taking the better scores in both of them. is that correct?
it is confusing.

No, my understanding is that you send ONE IELTS result in. You can't take several tests and mix and match the best results from each.

If you study correctly why should your scores in any of the sections of an IELTS test be worse than the first? Surely they should be better?

Please note much of the information on the process relates to 2010/2011 process. A new process is coming out for FSWP in May 2013.

Thank you Lakhvinder!

I tried to send reference letter and offer letter only. When I did not have either/both of them, I attached  form 16 (wages), relieving/experience letter, etc.

If your salary, employee id, and are mentioned in reference letter,  it may not matter much if offer letter is missed. May be you can add form 16. I heard some US applicants have used their H1B petition when they don't have offer letter.  If your old employer had your offer letter in the file, you can ask for a photocopy of that?

Just my opinion. I am not using any consultant.

Hi I have lost copies of my application forms which I submitted to the CIO now I am in a process f sending my forms to the visa office, should I just send the new filled application forms or i have to mention about it in the cover letter any suggestions please. thank you
Well as far as i know for app received before June 26/2010 we have to send the copies of the original forms, when i filled the forms out i was told to make two copies, one for my personal records and the second set of copies to be send to the VO, with all the supporting documentation, plus the payment, pictures, copies of the passport vio pages..... i have not read the changes on the law but for appilcants before June 26 send the copies, if I am wrong let me know.
