hi all..i am new to this thread and congrats to all who got their AORs.
pls somebody have time to answer my questions below
1.what is AOR? and when 1st AOR comes after applying?
2.is any difference between AOR and file number?
3.what is the best consultancy in india for help to apply for canada.............especialy in chandigarh

          actualy my brother applied through ***** in JALANDHAR,PUNJAB and his case is handling by its main office in chandigarh.he told me that he got file number but when i asked him is ***** has given you any proof of file number or AOR then he told me no its already in chandigarh office and they are now going to submit their documents coz initialy they only submited the form................and it has been approved by the canada ..................

so pls suggest me ***** is good company for handling immigration process and what u guys means of AORs pls help me

Thanks God I got my AOR on the 20th please update me and my visa office is London, I hope everybody gets it and the real game begins and we should all help each other in organizing documents and hope one of us should turn like qorax, pmm or other senior members and guide us through the whole process of getting over the visa office.

Guys I just called the CIO, and after a thorough investigation about my the lady in the other end of the line decided that I speak the thruth and that I am the person who claims to be.
She told me that my application was just opened today (I've been waiting for 129 days now) and that I will get a reply within 10 weeks from now.
She also provided me with 2 numbers:
1. Client ID number: 60xxxxxx
2. No idea: B0xxxxxxxx

Would anyone please elaborate on the No idea number (2nd number) ? I couldn't hear clearly what she was saying.

What is the use of both numbers as well?

Hi All,

My CC got charged on 23rd August 2010 and since then i have been waiting for the AOR in my mail box and didn't get any sort of mail till now.
I am from Toronto and My Visa office is Sydney.
Can anyone please input your feedback?

It is strange that you have not received AOR yet. Sydney is the fastest VO yet only five to six months on average. Nobody can understand CIO working!!
As your payment is charged so you should be very hopeful for AOR.

Can you tell me I tick yes in language and didnt provide any evidence for IELTS with forms as it was not mentioned in Checklist. Is that the point returinng my application ? this is because I think I would have to provide tO my VO , as Sydeny tell my application is retunred based on in-complete Form , this is the only I think can be

Faisal first of all i can't describe my feelings about your case.
for the question you are asking i think yes this could be the reason as it is mentioned in the application that if you took the test you should provide a copy and if your answer is no provide evidence.

Yes faisal I did the same.I ticked yes and did not provide copy of language taste.But it can not be a reason for rejection.
Test should be provide to the VO.I have no idea why they rejected your application and why u still did not got it ((((
