Hi,

I applied as a Computer System Manager (0213), which was delisted on June 26, 2010.

I live in MA, USA.

The visa office is Buffalo, NY.

Unfortunately, my mail was US Priority Mail, and I did not know when it was received by the CIO. Let's assume it was received on June 5, 2010.

The credit card was charged on August 23, 2010.

NO AOR yet.

Thanks,

Welcome abroad Mark, Hope we all get our AORs soon

hi,

none of the post 26 june applicants has got the 1st AOR till date.
I think as the process is too much different than the previous one, so there might be another system. & since the applicants have sent their full documents to the CIO, comparatively the time taken by CIO to check & respond will definitely take more time than the previous system.

u can check for updates at:

1. spreadsheet of post 26 june applicants:

Hello fellow June Applicants, first of all- CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO RECEIVED THEIR 1ST AOR.
I am hoping to get your thoughts on an inquiry I have been researching on- I am applying under FSW3 (family) and myself as the principal applicant. I received my 1st AOR and my VO is Manila. can you please share your thoughts on whether or not I would need to provide NBI clearance for my husband as well? the visa office specific requirements list I use as guideline doesnt say anything about it. If so, would you know if the original certificate is required or can we present a copy? hope I get responses. Thanks so much for all your help, very much appreciated.

The situation is slightly strange regarding post June 26 applicants. 3 people have reported to have contacted CIC last week - and throughout the week had been told they were doing eligibility reviews for applications received on 23rd, 24th and 27th+30th August respectively.

So it seems the eligibility reviews are being done for post June 26 approximately for applications received approximately 6 to 7 weeks ago. However, nobody has received an AOR yet. Not a soul. Nor has anyone reported their application being returned after encashment.

Looking at May/June patterns it seems clear there is a delay between an eligibility review happening and an AOR being sent out with file number. So, one theory is that they are waiting until they hit their 20,000 cap - and THEN send out all AORs and rejections at the same time and officially "close" FSW1 applications on their web site.

Please note much of the information on the process relates to 2010/2011 process. A new process is coming out for FSWP in May 2013.

You should put the same date when your docs will be sent to VO.

You should put the same date when your docs will be sent to VO.

I had already printed a couple of applications at once and filled them exactly with the same information including date, do you think i should re-print them and put the current date ?

I dont think that it would be a big problem if you will put fresh dates into the forms.Just explain everything in the cover letter.
When I will send full pack of docs I will provide VO with fresh forms and put there current date.
