Hello Guys,
I have a question and i hope you can help me.
As you may already know my application was received by the CIO on June 14th and since then i didn't get any update.
I am claiming 5 points of a relative in Canada because my sister lives in Calgary and of course i typed her information in one of the applications as required.
My question is:
Do you think, claiming these 5 points can delay my application until the CIO investigates about my sister, furthermore do you think I should inform my sister to be ready if they contacted her in any way ?
Just a thought and I wanted to share it with you all.

No i don't think so as later on you are asked to submit to the visa office a photocopy of your sister's citizenship or permanent resident |

Agreed, but they still have enough information to investigate, actually they don't need anything more than the PR number which is already included in the application. By the way, congratulation for receiving the AOR, we belong to the same VO -> Cairo. |

I see that processig time in cairo VO is sooooo long. It takes from 24 to 33 months.
Is it so in other visa offices in newdelhy or manilla? I think they are overloaded more than cairo.

Does anyone check you application status by CAS?
I have checked mine but no record was found, though I have received the 1st AOR on the 2nd October 2010.
Please reply if anyone have any information related to this issue.

Hello Dear, Please download & read the instruction guide for this. Everything is clearly mentioned. Any nationalized bank can get you the Bank Draft in Canadian Dollars. Check it with State Bank branches or HDFC or ICICI or PNB etc.. near to your locality. Do not forget to take a print copy of the 'Fee Payment Form' & your Passport - this is just for the validation purpose, if they ask! Instruction guide Step-3 &$ Step-4 describes everything about Fee Payment Information & Where to mail your application. You need to send your application pkg to CIC, NS, Canada. Hope this helps!
