But, Do I need to send the old application back or do I have to refill the documents and send them back.. I don't know if I can get original old documents back.. but if I get scanned copies of them and add them with newly filled app exactly like the previous ones???

hi,
there is NO harm in sending the application again. But make sure that u hav a very nice cover letter explaining the situation.

only the courier charge counts, n there's nothg to lose.

cheers

well, i think it would be a good idea if only the updated papers are included with the previous sent application, which u need to write in details in the cover letter.

i hop seniors wil also give u advice in this matter.

That's a great news..

Guys,, Should I write a detailed cover letter to CIC and send my application back to them as my consultant never asked my job duties?? I hope it's no too late.. I have not received my application and cover letter back from my consultant as well. Do I have to fill new papers or have to submit the old ones as is with detailed cover letter??

Thanks

jigzyy,

if you have a job contact or appointment letter then check the job descriptions there. sth like as ...(your position) you are required to do ....the following duties/ responsibilities.

if it matches with you noc code then tell the CIO that you agent filled it wrongly. i believe if your noc code/category matches with your duties and responsibilities then the cio might reconsider your application as it was mistake from your agent's part.

in my case i copied the duties/responsibilities sections from my job contact and attached it with the application as additional information.

i have not yet get my aor yet but not sure whether they will find any problem in my application. my cc was charged in aug 27 and expecting sth from cio by this week or next week.

thanks

I think I have heard one or two people rejected after encashment.

Here's what I think is happening:
- During the completeness check, the officer briefly examines your job duties to see if they seem to match the description, and will reject any blatant cases where the descriptions do not match sufficiently
- If the case is in doubt or borderline they will probably cash the credit card/banker's draft and submit it for eligibility review, where a more thorough examination of the job duties takes place

So I think that those who are refused after encashment are probably very borderline and required a more thorough check.

Of course the situation is slightly different for pre-June-26 than for post-June-26, since post-June-26 include all their documents including job references, so CIC have more information to work with. For pre-June-26 the only thing they have to go on is what you write in hte forms
