Hi everyone what is the time of not getting the application returns I mean after how much time somebody is safe of their application being returned after a certain time has passed and also please can somebody explain after the money is cashed yhen somebody is safe of being rejected. Nobody knows these timescales for sure, different people seem to have to wait differing lengths of time.

However, the procedure is:

1) CIC - Completeness check (ensure you have included all forms, all documents and no blanks etc)
2) CIC - Charge card/cash banker's draft
3) CIC - Eligibility review (calculating your points for 67+ points, checking job duties etc). If ok they send application to Visa office (VO) and send you an AOR
4) VO - Background checks
5) VO - Request medicals
6) VO - Request passports
7) You receive VISA form VO
You fly to Canada to complete your Record of Landing (must be within 1 year of taking medicals)
9) You get your PR cards sent to you

So you are not completely "safe" until you complete your Record of Landing, and even then there can be delays if there are any problems with your photographs. However realistically there is not much that can go wrong once they request your passports.

But certainly you are not safe even from CIC checks if you have your card charged, since you can still fail the eligibility review.

I just confirmed from my bank that my DD is valid for period of 6 months , it was made on 17th June, but they were not able to treck the status right away, will tell 2moro, . Can you confirm me that all those whose application has been rejcted got reply from CIO. as there is no timeline , it varies from case to case

Hi all
Just wanted to share with u guys. As u know common wealth games are being held in New Delhi. I went to see the opening ceremony yesterday..The 60 thousand people sitting around me , and I have  just one thing to say... Its  amazing just Awesome... Full of warmth and vibrancy. 
Everything was just superb , outstanding..... was cheering for my countrymen like anything
was feeling so proud to b an Indian...

Yea i am good waiting for my 2nd AOR, its good that you get all your docs ready and when you receive AOR just submit the docs next day it will save you time.
