I sent my package on May 30, 2010 by DHL and received by CIO sydney on June 2nd. till now no news and no money taken from credit card. anybody knows why and how long it takes to get my file Number.

A DD remains valid for 6 months. In any case you must confirm from bank officer also about DD encashment.

Does any one know how can I check my money order been cashed or not??

Easily go to Banks website, Contact us center, fill the form, they will inform you in less than 1 working day. It included the full serial number of my MD, beneficiary (CIO), just that.

IT SEEMS THAT DESPITE MAY APPLICANTS ,NO APPLICATIONS HAS BEEN RETUREND AFTER ENCASHMENT IN JUNE APPLICANT FORUM  ,IS IT WRIGHT?

Analysis sheet is a good idea ,we can add rejected cases with reasons and their NOCs.

I called this phone number and told the number and cost of  money order , the agent asked my name and checked his computer and cofirmed that my MO has been encashed.you can try if you want.I sent aletter but they answerd that it is not secure to send number of your MO  ,so we can not respont to your request.

In my case, they answered it promptly. although, I understand that they have lots of useful concerns about security issues.
any way, I don't think that a number of a hard copy related draft is so useful.

I received their email on Oct 2, 12:22am GMT+8, which I think is still friday afternoon in nova scotia, canada. I only saw and read their email saturday night.

I'm actually expecting to receive this email at the end of October, based on some posts in this forum. That is why I check my mail only once a day.

Be positive. One day you will be surprised too upon receiving a good news!
