Hello Frnds, what i expect that there is no guarantee that when we will get the AOR, reason behind is that my friend applied in january and his CC was punched in feb 10 and still he has not recd his AOR so what i think is of chance. the person whose chance or turn has came will move. fingers crossed .................... gsidhu
Your friend must call CIO to know the status of his app cuz no one at the forum is waiting for so long...even most of the April applicants have got their 2nd AOR.

I think your friend should contact CIO because CIO does not keep a person in loop for so long. Delay happens but not so long.

Thats really good news that CIO is now moving , I can see June last applicant got DD encashed on Sep 9th , and post 25 june applicant got last encashment on Sept 28th, and May Applicant start receving AOR from yesterday too , So now CIO would be proceedding towards June Aplicant Encashment after Sept 9th , this is my judgment , I hope it works
Regards Faisal

I don't understand why we are still talking about AOR. We all got AOR in June or July, right?
We should be waiting for E-Cas to show "in progress" or wait for the medicals

Did your friend checked his email thoroughly? It some times happens that the email received from CIO goes in your SPAM box and you never got to notice it...

The significance of AOR is not, of course, that you know they received your documents. Your courier and the fact that they charged your card or cashed your draft will tell you this. It's that your application has passed the CIC stage of completeness check, and then eligibility review. Currently after CC/DD cashed you are completely in the dark until you get your AOR with file number. After that you can check the status of your application online, so at least have some glimmer of hope each Tuesday that they have updated it. I suspect that they spent a large amount of time over the summer on student visas, coupled with the unusually large intake of applications during May and June, hence the silence on AORs until now. The completeness check leading to encashment is probably a very quick process, whereas with the eligibility review they have to check all the info on your forms (and for post-June-26 candidates they will probably go through all your educational documents and work experience etc) - and calculate how many points they believe you have accured. This is why we are all very eager for some AORs to start filtering through! Wayne.

My Canada blog = http://get2canada.wordpress.comPlease note much of the information on the process relates to 2010/2011 process. A new process is coming out for FSWP in May 2013.
