What is also interesting about that link: # CIC has made key decisions without properly evaluating their costs and benefits, risks, and potential impacts on other programs and delivery mechanisms. The OAG did not find that a shift in the type of workers accepted was part of any well-defined strategy to best meet Canadian labour market needs.
# the inventory of Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) applications has almost doubled since the OAG's 2000 audit, and measures taken by CIC to limit the number of new FSW applications were implemented without sufficient analysis of their potential effects. So the office of the auditor general didn't think changing the 38 list to the 29 list was a great idea, and also thought that CIC were hasty in putting the 20,000 limit on FSW applications? Wayne. |

In addition 1 AOR dosent show you can obtain 67 or not, it will checked with your documents provided. yours |

Hope for the best and Pray to Almighty. However, It is possible to be rejected even after 2nd AOR, Even after Medical, if the report goes wrong. Means, one can be rejected at any time of the total process of immigration. But, it happens when they find inconsistency, and non transparent information and upon verification find different from the reality. Otherwise they are famous world wide for their unbiasness and justness of processing Immigration Applications. So, always pray to Almighty, and keep yourself transparent and fair. Yes Azaman u r right...
As per Pre 26 June CIC Guide, you should obtain it three months before you apply for immigration and thats it.....
As per Post 26 Juen CIC Guide, as bp mentioned; This document is very vague. cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf Look at page 40, it says:
a) start gathering Police clearance certificate (PCC) when you plan to apply for CIO.
b) it (PCC) is valid for one year
c) you need to provide new certificate if your case is not finalized within one year of your validity of police certificate.
d) your police certificate can not be older than 3 months
and yes point (b) and (d) are contradictory...

I think it should be read as follow, your PCC should being for at most 3 month prior to the date of we receive it, we will not ask another one, when your processing time take less than one year long, otherwise you should provide another PCC, before Visa Request or Medical Approval. The Fall 2009 Report of the Office of Auditor General of Canada (OAG), which was released almost a year ago in November 2009, also included their concerns on the immigration programmes in place. It is quite possible from the short time span between the subsequent meeting of the Public Accounts Committee on 13 April 2010 and the release of the 2nd Ministerial Instruction on 26 June 2010, that the latter could have been a knee jerk reaction to the findings of OAG. Also the need for them to issue subsequent procedural clarifications in August 2010, and the delays experienced currently, do seem to suggest that they were ill equipted to handle the changes in application procedures brought about by the 26 June instruction. Perhaps this may not have been the case if the 2nd Ministerial Instruction was delayed by a couple of months?
