You need to hold your nerve. There are a lot of speculation in here. Please wait for fact and learn from all others. Someone claimed he call CIO and that's how he got the info.

Phone the bank that issued the draft and ask them when/if they can tell you that the recipient cashed it.

Please note much of the information on the process relates to 2010/2011 process. A new process is coming out for FSWP in May 2013.

I am from Hyderabad, India and would like to know whether it is necessary to go to PP office only for obtaining a PCC or we can even get it from nearby Police Station.

Lamhey and EMO, yes he said that it wasn't actual AOR, but atleast he said he already has the file number... which means a good sign (I think so too).. not like for many of us (May and June applcants) who doesn't have file number yet..  Grin

I'm a bit sad though.. but still looking at the brighter side.. CIC atleast have the file numbers...  Grin Roll Eyes

Happy Weekend Everyone!  Kiss

I took mine from RPO (regional passport office). It took only 3hours. I would suggest this.
I don't think you can take it from local police station. I heard that It has to be form commissioner's office? Please double check.
