We Need to Understand This

ALL of us in the so called backlog have cleared the CIO Stage so we are not bothered about how Busy they are at This Moment

second our Files are at Local VO where as the New applicants are processed by CIO

In new Priority List VO Is limited to issuing Medical and stamping Visa to the new applicants

They will Be analyzing The Files of Pre june 2010 Applicants

Now The Gist is The Local VO Has our files

We are affected not By how many new files are raised but by how many Visa they plan to issue this year.

I heard its 55000 Files for this year
and assuming 1500 are left from last Year fast track , It is also Understood Not More than 7000 New Applicants are expected this year

we are Left With 46500 Visa for aspirants like us.

The Results of this are already Visible on Most of the Threads .

So Keep The Hopes High and Best Of Luck

DBC

How do you figure that only 1500 are left from last year's fast track?

CIC have a total of around 14,000 from June 2010 to July 2011.

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AiJy8Qu8lcQbdGxiSnNhME5sVi1uRlZtUWNhOEFwemc&hl=ar&authkey=CLDXsFA#gid=13

As you can see out of 401 June2010-June2010 applicants on our spreadsheet, only 28 have their visas so far. That's just under 7%. That means 93% of post-June-2010 on our thread do not have visas yet.

Scale that up to the 14,000 receive by CIC and the figure is more likely to be around 13,000 who do not have their visas yet, not 1500!

dear pal,

Good for you  Cheesy, something is really happening.

sori to say nothing has changed in my case.  Angry Sad Shocked

lamhey

Hi,

Missing of address is quite normal with us its kinda playing hide n seek.

But the main part stays still so of course not that good for me nor bad.

Pre June applicants are suffering so badly that some of my friends has already started to search for an alternate (There are over 60 options for immigration to Canada. Find out if you qualify with our free assessment)......It should come as no surprise to anyone who follows Canadian politics that the party in power, with a fresh majority of seats in the House of Commons, has reduced by half the number of applications to be accepted for processing, without a job offer, under the FSW Program.

This new update seems not that productive as we've expecting its just like a lollipop to shut the mouth of crying baby...

They dance blameless at our cost of application. Cheesy

At least after viewing Lakh's comment i've to say so!

My calculation is particularly based on ND VO cuz I'm observing it closely, Post june applications at new Delhi is around 30% of 14000 that mean around 4000 apps are belong to New Delhi plus 500 for AEO cases and visa quota for the current year is 7500 so 3000 left for pre june. We don't know pre june inventory at New Delhi but it must be around 20000 so it's quite obvious it will take two or more year to process ...

Well i am not trying to spread any negativity  but we should think logically and prepare ourselves for the situation, if it turns out in our favor and we get visa before expected time it will be a bonus but if not even then we should not feel bad.

Ok got your point and agreed.

i dont understand how you got that 1500 figure. It can not be mentioned at any official website. if you see 1500 files were received within last few weeks. You mean before that all applicants have got visa.
I dont agree with you.

destination BC , does this BC stands for British Columbia  Grin

Anyway , i believe this year in 10000 cap  the total application  will not exceed 5000 , i had calculated as per the previous trends ( keep consider some of the professionals already exhaust so remaining will be very less in some rare noc like crane operator, drillers etc )

post june applicant has some advantages compare to pre june and that is , they save 120 days of gap time to send the full document to the visa office.

same time the major checks and critical evaluation is done by the CIO.

also save the time of courier twice

Local visa office is also less to do compare to pre june

so by process already they are ahead of us !

But this time once is it is identified by the minister and backlog become an issue and there is no change in the noc as well , so i believe post june will not be the priority anymore!
i think within oncoming two weeks pre june will get a huge momentum in processing !

if you like it , then click +1 for me  Cool

Yeah you are right in some streak but ...

what makes you so sure that within two weeks pre june will be getting extra benefits just because its been identified by the minister and backlog become an issue?

How post june not being counted as in priority list anymore...plz elaborate!

However i hope the thing u have said may get true and with positivity Intent...

Here i give u +1

Good Luck

As per new strategy cic wants to reduce the backlog for the pre june 2010 applicant , but still processing time is 14 months , do you all think that it will be reduced ?

To teaspoon,

We are left with a certain "Hope" that CIC will definitely solve this backlog issue upon introducing the MI-3 this July. All we have to do is keep track of things and pray for a very positive thing to us MI-1 applicants. I honestly will tell you that I lost my hope, but eventually all will come to its appropriate time. All of us just pray for the positive outcome. Godbless to us all! Smiley Smiley
