That's not the problem, do not worry. I did not provide IELTS test results and I received AOR. It is not required for applicants that applied before June 26th. It should be send with complete documents to the VO. To my horror I discovered that I did the same, I hope any senior can advise whether this could be a reason for rejection or not

I called CIO about an hour ago to get an update on my application cos it seems no one from Accra visa office has received an AOR since May.... The Agent was quite courteous and asked me when my name, date of birth & when my application got to CIO which i told her, she told me to hold on for about 5 minutes and came back to ask me my payment mode which i told her CC charged sept 1.
She kept me on hold for another 5 minutes and told me my application is currently being processed and it will take about 33 weeks for me to get an AOR from my application date..... as she was about to say good bye, i asked her if i have any application number or client i.d to help me in case i want to call again. she then gave me an 8 digit number Client i.d number (Is that good news ?).
she then told me i could call back if i dont receive my AOR by December ending.
To all of us still waiting earnestly for the AOR... it is well, while those that have received theirs i say receive favour throughout the remaining process.
Brother, The best approach to this whole thing is to modify our short term plans and be ready to wait till all the processes runs from one level to the other. Someone from this forum who is dealing with Cairo VO said he recieved 2nd AOR and he was told to wait 24 months( I hope am correct). Thats the reality. Having said that you may be surprise to get response soonest. Cheers |

Although i'm a post June applican't but i follow your thread. I just want to say, guys that whenever i read a post of any one of you that has recieved his AOR, i feel so happy for him. In fact, i can feel your happiness in your wards. May God make the rest of you all recieve their AOR ASAP and be relived.

Thank you so much, i was not sure about that, first thought i had to send the payment with the full documents to the VO, I think i have lots of chance to get another YES, i have an offer of employment, a positive AOE and more than 10 years of experience as an IT, and got 16 points on my IELTS, and 14 yeras of education. Hope every one here gets approved. |

It all depends on the date they received your APP, if it was received before June 26 that should no be a problem eventhough i sent a copy (not the original) i have to send the original IELTS to the VO, if you applied after June 26 2010 you have to send the original to CIO.

There is no harm in sending it now. It is an extra step when you do it later and it can cause delays if something goes wrong. There are some posts in this forum that indiactes it reduces processing times. I don't know if it is true. Why bother sending it later when you can send it now.. |

Hello everybody, although this is my first time on this thread, i've been a regular visitor. I submitted my full doc to Accra in june. Pls EMO are you saying it could take next 24months?
