My pcc was issued in july too but i think we need to get another cuz as per cic guide it shud not be more than 3 months old while submitting to Visa office, below is the extract from EG7 ( page-40).

When you submit the police certificates to the visa office, ensure they have been issued in the last three months and no earlier. Certificates that are more than three months old on receipt will not be accepted.

You need do nothing. that's new EG7, but the old EG7 says:
"       When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure
that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you
submitted your application to the CIO
"

but still i feel we should get new PCC on safer side cuz if they require new at later stage it can linger the process. Moreover getting PCC in India is not a tough job.

Guy! good news... today I got my 1st AOR. my visa office is london, i submitted my documents to CIO last june 21, 2010 and they received my papers June 25, 2010. one day before the new rules.

I have received the 1st AOR  today an hour ago. I had mentioned Islamabad, Pakistan Visa Office in my application. Now they have advised me to send documents to London VO.

The long wait was more than enough but Thanks God end was good.

Great Day for Rizwan and Hard Day for me , I called to CIO regarding my case enquiry , Agents says that my appplication is returned on 19th Aug,2010, I asked him the reasons for rejection he said that its due to incomplete Form , I dont know what in-completeness I left in  there, the actual scenario will be clear when I will receive it ,  according to him  i suppose to received the application packet return to me withing 2 months ,anyways life has to go with all hurdles and happiness , but we have to move on with it, Many cograts to all those who got AOR

Faisal, its hard to believe. I think its a complexed situation. You were told that application was returned as of Aug 19 but still you are in dark by not having received it. Quoting my case as an example, my application was returned, I received the full pack on 28 May, the envelope was dated as May 12 and it also had a stamp of receiving dox by CIO as May 02. If CIO had returned your app on Aug 19, then how come you have not received it till now? Almost two months?

one question about the copies of passports!

its written in the ND VO specification:
Passports or travel documents for you, your spouse or common-law partner and your dependent children. Include photocopies of all pages of the passports/travel documents.

What does all pages mean? do we need to photocopy of all the pages & notorise? or just the ones which are the main ones + visa pages.
& do we reali need to notorise them? (ive seen in some threads that passport photocopies need not to be notorised), if NOT, then why?

Yes photocopies of all pages of the passport are required to send not just the bio data pages. It is not mentioned in d checklist that it shud be notarized but there is no harm if u do so.

Dear All
Can anyone please help me . I got reply from Call center agent yesteday that my application is retuned on 19th Aug 2010 due to some missing documents, I am June 23rd Applicant, Can anyone please help me out , Can i re-apply again or there are no chances to apply now, I have also been a given a Client ID # previous when I talked to Agent , I have not received my packet yet......... please help
