The visa officers will want to satisfy themselves that this is your money and has not been borrowed. If you provide only a letter giving the total balance this may not (probably won't, in fact) satisfy them, and they may ask for at least 3 months statements.

Where are you getting this money from? If you're intending to borrow the money and pretend it belongs to you, then this is not allowed and you should expect to have your case refused. The ministerial instructions clearly state that the money must belong to you and cannot be borrowed, and I strongly suggest you don't try to lie to CHC.

If the money is genuinely yours and is from the sale of an asset or from another account, then you just need to prove the source of the funds. Send 3 months bank statements and then also show the source of the funds (receipts from sales or other account statements etc) to prove where the large deposit came from.

if I was limited to 120 days, and recently opened an account (i.e. did not maintain it for 3 months), then I would provide an account balance plus info on source of $13K.

But in the check list of Bucharest is written that you need to show this:
•current bank certification letter; or
•evidence of savings balance; or
•fixed or time deposit statements.
and i think the first one shows only number of the bank account, name and amount of money.I am not so sure what to do.

Well then I'll ask the question again, is the money yours or are you borrowing it from someone?

If it is yours then you have nothing to fear and should show the source of the funds. If you are borrowing the money and pretending that it is yours, then this is defrauding CHC and they will take a very dim view if they find out the money doesn't belong to you.

You could of course "roll the dice" and hope they accept a letter from the bank without showing where the funds came from, but is it worth the risk?

Hi rehaan,
we are here only.yes bit busy in collecting doc too, but regularly watching the thread.
...just waiting for the good news from you guys...now a days AORs are not coming in volume, its really frustrating.
All members of this thread are like family to us.
I wish all will get AOR soon.

I think our sheet is more organised than others, actually others following our pattern. Analysis sheet (2nd sheet) will give you more clear idea about AORs.

I found this in google search:

it appears to stand for Unique Client Identifier (UCI) probably for data protection law compliance purposes.

Then let me put a question for members who have received their AORs. Has anyone received an AOR stating UCI at the top in addition to file #? My friend received his AOR back in June 2010 but he did not have any UCI # on his AOR.

Would appreciate reply(s).

I think our sheet is more organised than others, actually others following our pattern. Analysis sheet (2nd sheet) will give you more clear idea about AORs.

I second Lakhvinder on this. Guess, no immediate changes are required at this stage.
