I am convinced too that all May applicants should receive their AOR before us, but who knows, I really started to believe that they don't follow a specific pattern...
Anyway by checking the May list i found out that only 2 out of 127 applicants received their AOR specifically on 11th & 16th August.
The application was received by the CIO on May 3rd for both of them.
This is not a good indicator, at least to me...

If then CIC takes more than one year to decide your case, then you need to provide another one!!! You must be kidding here!!
Alas, I do not think they are kidding. If your police certificate expires before they finalise your application, they can ask for another one. They probably will. Wayne. |

I think your guess is correct. However, contrary to May and June applicants, most of the April 2010 applicants got their AOR and submitting the full doc to visa office. Nothing much to do other than keeping the finger crossed and wait! thanks zaman |

Hi,
The moment my CC got charged, i applied for PCC. There r 2 ways to get that:-
Either from regional Passport office
or from local police station
I applied to my police station and i got it within a month's time. I am still awaiting AOR.
I think you PCC will remain valid whenever you get the AOR. See the CIC link relating to police certificate. It says you should obtain it three months before you apply for immigration. My advice is to do whatever your visa-office specific checklists says to do. Many of them were amended around 30th August to explicitly ask you not to send them until requested by VO, but I am not sure all of them were. Wayne. |

Hello Everyone,
anyone here in this forum who applied in june 2010 and still waiting for 1st AOR?
CIO recieved my application on 04th June 2010, as TCS mntioned on their trakking system.
but im still waiting for AOR.
TCS must have sent it through DHL or any other international operator. You`ve got to find out reference # of DHL etc. Ask relevant person in TCS to provide you with the details. For checking status of June applicants, please refer to list and status update available at this forum. |

If in any doubt whatsoever, then send it with your application. They cannot fail your application for including a document which is not yet needed, worse case scenario is they will ask for another one at a later date. However if you fail to provide something the visa office is specifically asking for then they can certainly fail you for that. Better safe than sorry!  Wayne. |

I wrote to canadian high commission islamabad about my case. my application was received at sydney office on 14 may 2010. they forwarded my email to CIO sydney. today i have received response from sydeny office and canadian high commission islamabad has forwarded this email to me.
