How can we confirm that our application has actually reached with Canada Immigration. I have the courier routing information and as per that it is received on June 10, 2010 in halifax, nova scotia. But courier information is not always reliable. Is there anyway to confirm application receipt?

You can confirm it by calling to CIC but they will only be able to tell you if they have opened your package as you application was reached on the 10th June its highly likely and its not opened yet, try to ring them when May end applicants start receiving the AORs.

what u think, when CIO will start work on June applicants since they have not started yet may applicantions. It seems will start getting AOR in the month of september..waiting period is killing.
if the applcation is returned due any reason will they send it earlier or by the same time as for AOR.

Hi lakhvinder,

By the speed they are working i think they will start looking at the June applicants at the end of August unless they speed up there process because they wont be receiving too many applications in July & August. If application is returned due to some problem with the application it will take the same time but if the problem is with the payment then i think it will take less time because they would have already reviewed the file.

yes i am really looking forward for the next week once my cc is charged i will be bit relief as i will know that AOR will come somtime sooon. Thanx for ur wishes

I have read through this forum about applicants who applied under the rules prior to 2008 and after waiting for years they got the reply of rejection stating "You dont fall under the new rules" so in this scenario after the June 26th, nobody is sure whether their applications will be accepted who applied in June 2010, I filed in June too and I am not sure if any mistakes come out in the forms like leaving blank spaces instead of writing "N/A" will they return it and whether after resubmitting I will fall under the new list. Also if the application form is not stamped as "Recieved" before June 26 will it be considered under the new rules or old. Nobody is perfect like I myself has left some spaces blank which were not relevant to me noe I realize I should have written N/A I am afraid that my application will be returned and ask for correction and I am confused that it will fall under new rules or old ones, my application was recieved at CIO on June 21st. They are very important questions I invite all of you for discussions so we can make our minds clear about the problems created by the June 26.  Thank you

In another 15 days - 30 days we will know. If they start collecting application fee (charging CC/encashing the cheques), we can assume that they are processing our applicaitons as per 38-list rules.

We can also start watching May applicants thread to see if they are getting AORs.

Dear June Applicant:
If you go through the April and May application. It took about 2 month to get the DD encashed and 2.5 month on average to get the 1st AOR. So from this analysis we can assume that the June applicant AOR will be coming from the end of Augast 2010. Till that time we need to wait.

yes you right Beximco. yesterday i called up at CIO and a lady told me that right now they are assessing april 16-17 applications. so we have to wait till sept first week. lets wait together.. !

Is there any possibility of rejecting the cases by the local visa office if one has received AOR for the cases received before 26th june ,from Nova Scotia as few cosultants are giving the such impressions , i think local visa office will be aware of the case history that it has been received before 26th june, Any thoughts

I sent my application on 24th Jun-2010 and reached to CIO on 2nd-Jul-2010. Does anyone knows, when can i know that my applicaiton is being rejected due to new demand list ?

I have used one of my friend's Credit Card and already paid him fees.... Can i assume that it is gonna Reject and they won't deduct any money from his Credit Card ?

Advise Please.....
