Kourts - I had the same thing, my husbands letter said the date it was received in miss, but was from the foreign VO. It sounds like your call agents are confused, but that things are going in the right order. I think they've made a number of changes to the system in the past few months, so maybe the offices are still figuring it out. On e-cas we get the same kind of messages, and we got the passport request today  . So I would say, don't worry, sounds like your file is in the VO and working its way to the top of the pile. Good luck for a speedier process!!! |

I think that things are in the right place too, but a PPR is going to take a bit more wait. At 4 months vs. 11 months posted processing time for Beijing vs. Buffalo, he ain't gonna get it until several more months later.

Just a little note letting everyone here know that the applicant now has a shiny new email detailing an AoR from Buffalo.
This was a welcome start to our day, and I believe it's something that folk like to hear about.
So now, CIC-M got our app on June 30, sent email for sponsor approval on August 31 and now on Oct 4 an AoR to the applicant. Thank you, Buffalo! We're grateful!
Sure, there's more waiting involved and a possible interview and all that jazz, but it's a nice little suprise.
