under Sponsorship Application Status it says decision made
We received your application on June 16, 2011.
We started processing your application on August 22, 2011.
We sent you a letter on August 9, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Under Permanent Residence Application Status it says Received.
We received application for permanent residence on June 16, 2011.
It is confusing, did they started processing in New Delhi on August 22??

That process was part of your first part application on your side it process in CIC-M and decide. Under permanent Residence is part of your Spouse application will process and decide in Delhi VO |

MandyUK My application was received at Mississauga on June 16, 2011. I got sponsorship approval letter from Mississauga dated August 09,2011 on August 15. |

Which means that, as super-fast as New Delhi is, they have only received your application, they have not yet begun processing it. It takes visa offices about 10-14 days to receive files once CPC-M has approved the sponsor, so if they approved you to sponsor on Aug 9, New Delhi received your file on Aug 22, 13 days later, and that's where you are now. No processing began on Aug 22. When that happens, you will receive the request for your PP, that is how you know they have started processing your file.

Hi Safar! This is what I see on my hubby's (sponsor) ecas too. We received your application to sponsor _____ on June 22, 2011. We started processing your application on August 17, 2011. We sent you a letter on August 9, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. I believe that is just normal. Has your VO asked you for your passport and additional documents already? If not yet, then for sure you will receive the request soon. |
