Yes, it is another step closer to getting the Visa.
But it depends on the VO's processing how long it would take to issue and return the passport with Visa already.

Hi everyone,
Happy to say we've received a letter from the consulate requesting my wife sends her passport in. The letter is dated August 17th.
e-cas hasn't been updated though! I suppose the next step is to land, but that can wait (the visa is good until May 15th next year).
Good luck to everyone still awaiting sponsorship approvals/news from their respective visa office.

Hey guys! I've already got my passport request just today. Hi everyone,

Yay, that's quick... Congrats and hopefully you both receive your passports back soon complete with Visa...  London is much slower so I think I've got a bit of a wait to go... Will update spreadsheet shortly... |

Yes I did. Its in the requirements forms. You have to included that in it with your application. |

Anyone else apply in June yet ? I applied in June and it was recieved on June 16th I am Sponsoring my husband I was approved on Aug.5th and they said PR application was sent to Buffalo for further processing. I have not heard anything since and nothing is showing when I check my application status,wondering how come and does anyone else have this problem when checking status? Thanks ! |
