Sent out my application on June 1st. Arrived at the Mississauga Office on June 2nd. Sponsorship approved July 11th. Just received our letter today.  Hi! How did you know that your sponsorship was approved on June 11th when you just received the letter today? Did they notify you via email first? Thank you. |

Maybe they got a email from cic saying they made a decision July 11th and a letter was sent, got the letter today and that's how they know they were approved |

Thank you. the letter contains the date as to when the application was approved. they got the letter and read it and so they found out that they got approved on the 11th.. |

I checked on e-CAS and it said the decision was made on June 11th and a letter was sent out on that day. I didn't get an email for some reason. Just received the letter today. |

Hello everyone! So glad to be joining this thread! My husband and I worked on our application for months, had a few setbacks and delays and finally sent everything off on June 14! We are applying through Rome and my husband is from Albania! So let the "real" wait begin, and hopefully it's a speedy one! Congrats to those who have been approved for sponsorship!

My husband also got the letter today, was also approved on July 11. Now we just have to wait for the local Visa office hi san destination u? wla pa ba u receive letter d2 sa pinas only ur husband palang...
puede n ba me magcheck ng ecas khit wala pa me letter receive ..tnx...kz nbasa me sa message u sa forum nakalog-in ka na khit wala pa u letter..tnx |

Hi everyone! I was just wondering. Who among you mailed your application via express post or fedex? When my hubby tried to send it through fedex (due to the Canada Post strike), they didn't accept the mailing address written on CIC website (because it was a P.O. Box address). So we had to look for another address of CPC Mississauga and just wrote on the envelope that it was for a Visa Application. We have not received any acknowledgement yet from CPC -M. So we were not sure if they really recieve our application. But the courier said it was delivered on June 22, 2011. Anyone here who has the same experience? Thank you. |

I received my confirmation of sponsorship approval letter today - Yay - sent from CPC-M on 14th July and arrived in Scotland, UK today...very quick.
