Wow things are really starting to move along! I can't believe how many people are already in process, and nearing the end! It's wonderful! Were applying through Rome which is the slowest office in Europe, but hopefully we will luck out and they will start processing our app as well.
I ended up not signing up for ecas tracker. But does it track the whole process? Updating you each time CIC updates? Hopefully that makes sense.....

The tracker sends you an email when there is a change to eCAS. It reduces the need to check it yourself every day, I do believe it has become compulsive for some, haha.
The caveat to this is...eCAS can be weird, and right now is doing some very odd things, and the tracker doesn't explain WHY a change has been made, it just tells you that one has been made, so when eCAS goes "buggy" the tracker will respond, as it does when there are "legitimate" updates.

right, i don't see the point of not having e-cas tracker following your file's updates....it really doesn't hurt. now another "caveat" in addition to the bug-related ones you mentioned is the fact that e-cas is not reliable for outland applications anyway......for that, we need to spend another several weeks waiting for notes and "interpreting" them  The tracker sends you an email when there is a change to eCAS. Police Certificate and Medical on August 1 but not PPR yet
Medical examination i did it 2 weeks ago do you know guys how long it is gonna take??
I want to see my ECAS with medicals received

What does advisory on marriage mean? It is a document that we can obtain from our National Statistics Office and different from the Marriage Certificate. For single people, we call it certificate of no marriage but for those who are already married, they call it advisory on marriage. I hope you understood. |
