Nope, I dont think so. If you check the June spreadsheet created by MDSB right here https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0AqGLhMqzZEMHdG5yX1JSeDdaT05FWnllRnNwSWpGamc&output=html, you will notice that there are only two other applicants from CHC-Islamabad who havent even recieved their sponsorship approvals yet. Wish all you guys a speedy processing. I feel the CHC-Islamabad applicants have a rough road ahead what with 24 months of waiting. My heart goes out to all of you....wish you guys get it a lot sooner than that! Shamsia |

Yep, exactly, after which the file is transferred to the respective Visa Office, Islamabad in your case. Also, its too early for you to get a file number. Maybe you can wait 2 more weeks and then email them asking for your file number. Earlier, they used to send out Acknowledgement of Reciept (AOR) letters which contained the FIle Numbers, but have stopped doing so since Oct 2010. Hence, you will have to write to them asking for the File Number. Hope this helps  |

the application was sent on June 1, 2011 and it was approved on July 5, 2011 and was sent to islamabad. but since then i haven't heard anything from islamabad.  |

You need to wait for some more time and email them asking for your file number. CHC-Islamabad is one of the slowest Visa Offices with 24 months. Inshallah your application will be processed faster than that, but you need to be realistic about it. Wish you a speedy processing |

guys, can you access your ecas? To date, it's been the tenth day since i received an email from CPC-M that my husband's sponsorship has been approved. Can't access the ecas still.. we tried the UCI, receipt number and application number, nothing worked. keep me sane guys.. (kidding!:)) |

Received another eCAS update today
Medical results have been received.
Let's hope next weeks brings some good news for the early June applicants!
I can finally access e-cas! Says the file was transferred to the visa office on July 25th and that they commenced processing on August 11th. Last update is that medicals have been received (from Friday I think). |

Although its been just 5 days (if im not mistaken) since we received an email from CIC-M, I still cant access ecas. I guess we just have to wait again.
