well everyone I called CIC again today as I'm getting impatient after asking mine and my sponsors names he put me on hold an when he came back he told me my sponsor should be hearing something soon, and told me 2-3 weeks as they're working on June 17th. Mine was received June 8th! I don't think the guy knew what he was talking about.  i think the cic people have no information. and the best they do is send us a link to our problem. they can only see wht we see, and they are always in a hurry to hang up the phone. |

MDSB; please add me to your sheet. I sent my spouse application on June 8 but i don't know when it was delivered because of the Canada post strike so my application was stuck in it. I think it delivered after the locked out over, June 27. Visa Office; Islamabad. Thanks. |

Hi kourts
Nope, not approved yet. We have been trying to call CIC-M but it seems very difficult to get through. Once that I actually made it (10 days ago) the operator told me that he can not give me any information since Im not my husbands representative (I did mention that we have one). Than my husband (he is sponsoring me) call them last Monday and they told him that they did not open the file yet. We were trying to call on Friday again, but no way to get through. This is so frustrating!

I know how you feel, I was lucky enough to get operators that would tell me something, since I also am the one being sponsored, the first time the lady confirmed they received it June 8th, and they started processing it July 19th. I just called back friday an the guy said 2-3 weeks. I believe he's wrong, since he told me they're working on apps past the date mine was received but idk. Frustrating, because it seems they just want to skip people. whats so much more complicated about people from the beginning of the month.
