Hello Everyone,
I applied for CEC in June 2011 and have already had my medicals requested in September.. In early November, my eCase update said Medicals Received, and just now I checked it again, and it says that my application has begun processing on December 20th.
Is this normal? I thought they were already processing my application in September when I got my medicals request? And can any other June 2011 applicants provide me with their progress timeline?

I'm in the situation as I have applied in June, medicals received end of september. Since then my e-cas status says, 'application received- Medical received". Until now it does not say "in process". No idea what's going on!

I am in same time lines and my ecas status shows:
We received your application for permanent residence on June 21, 2011. We started processing your application on September 26, 2011. Medical results have been received. (medicals sent Nov 10 2011) it updated in DEC 1st week.

One more question, in my medical form they mentioned that if I was asked to attend an interview, I should not do it until I receive the request for an interview. Does it mean that what I received is an IA???

Hi, I am in the same boat. I also applied in June and my E-CAS says, they have received the medicals not even started processing my application yet. Also did you guys get application transfered? I believe that mine is still remaining in Buffalo office. Let's keep each other updated.

All of us who applied during June/July got the medical request rather faster than usual and no it was not IA. Before medical requests were sent to those only who met the eligibility requirement and received an IA. But unfortunately that's not the case anymore. In order to expedite the process they started sending medical request without IA. So, don't go for any interview or take any steps unless you are requested by the VO. Now all we can do is be patient and wait for the outcome! |

Did any June applicant get PPR request? I applied on June 29th and my E-Cas shows that they started processing my application on Jan 5th. Does anyone know how long would they take to process the application? Will they speed up the process if we send the RR before they ask?

I got my passport request on Jan 17 (applied June 2). I paid the RPRF in advance. Not sure if it helped but it can not do any harm to pay it in advance.

They started processing it on Jan 12 so it was pretty fast after that however my filled was in LA. Anyway, I believe you`re very close. Have they already received your medicals? I did not send any cover letter, I just included my name and Client ID number.

Yeah, they received my medicals in November and started to process the application on January 5th. My file is still in Buffalo. I don't know how long they will take to process my application. So have you just sent the bank draft to Buffalo office?? I am also planning to send the fee in advance to Buffalo office. Could you tell me the details of how to send the fee to VO???
