How did you get your client ID...........i do not think before PER you can check your application status......

You can if CIO gives you an application number in response to an enquiry about your application. Your status will obviously show 'Application Received'.....Mandie

For instance sending e-mail to  FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca, giving them ur name, NOC, VO, DoB, date application received and fee processed. A simple note saying your application was filed on XYX and cc/dd processed on YXZ and you just want to know when you hear from them. A standard response could be 'your application # is E000******. it is awaiting assessment'. It is this number u use to check on ecas by selecting immigration file number....hope this helps...Mandie

I sent bank certification letter with my initial apllication as PoF. but I heard that VO again wants PoF. Can anyone inform me how exactly VO checks the PoF? Will VO want bank statement of last 6 months or so? Or will VO contact itself with the bank?

Hi Tasneem,

Usullay we have to collect a letter from Bank manager stating we have an account and enough money with the bank. You also have to take an uptodate bankd statement from the Bank.

CIC usually accepts any banks which they can varify the details online or phone.

Dear All,

As per CIC website the total applications received effective July 1st still shows 0... Does it mean they have not started reviewing the application received after July 1t yet!!! Its been more than 17 days.

Could it be the reason for the delay in AOR for us?? Your thoughts please...

My application was received June 30.NOC 1233. I used a bank draft. is it the bank that tells you if your draft is encashed.
call there and they an agent says she will not be able to tell me that. as a draft is like cash? any comments?

I think you have to try with different branch of your banks as well as with many bank agents. Some of them are willing to help us check status of your bank draft however others will say that you could not check or they cannot do that. In my case, I got my DD status in the fourth time. Before that, I already tried with 2 different branch offices and I got the final answer when I came back to the first bank office where I by my DD and asked for my luck.

I send the photocopies only.........but i always suggest my friend that send as it is decribed in required list........if you have chance to do all........nope i still do not get PER........im waiting for my PER..........then it will be confirm what happened........i sent only IELTS original.........
