Hey Guys... The status has now changed to "Decision Made"   Cheesy

Would like to thank all for your help, support & wishes..

However, i am a little confused with one thing;
On the Application status page, right where earlier used to be the mailing address (which was missing since almost a month), i could now see "Your current home address" and under that is written, "Toronto, Ontario Canada". There's also a hyperlink beneath this saying, "Update this home address".

Is this normal?

Also, the line, "Office will contact you regarding your decision" has not been updated yet.

Does this or the other issue mentioned above by any way suggest any problem??

Proof of Landing  Funds email reply from CHC - New Delhi, India

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

The amount of funds you need to have in order to settle in Canada depends on the size of your family. The funds must be available to you and transferable to Canada. They must be unencumbered by debts or other obligations.

Number of family members
Funds required
1 - $11,086
2 - $13,801
3 - $16,967
4 - $20,599
5 - $23,364
6 - $26,350
7 or more - $29,337

Acceptable proof of funds are:

-bank accounts in your name or the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner;
-cashable investments in your name or the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner;
-cashable fixed deposits in your name of the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner.

Not acceptable are:

-bank accounts in someone else's name;
-bank accounts which are joint in your name and someone else (other than your accompanying spouse/common-law partner);
-bank accounts in the name of your spouse who is not accompanying you to Canada;
-property valuations;
-vehicle valuations;
-jewellery valuations.

You are not required to carry your funds in cash when you arrive in Canada. You are, however, required to show documentary evidence that you have the funds available (in bank accounts or cashable investments), and that they can be transferred to Canada.

A port of entry officer in Canada may seek to confirm these funds before granting you permanent residence along with your dependants. (was in indirect form in this sentence only).

If you have arranged employment in Canada, you do not have to meet these financial requirements. Arranged employment means that you have an offer of indeterminate employment from an employer in Canada. You must be either currently working in that employment on a work permit in Canada, or have been issued a labour market opinion has must have been provided by the Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). In order to be exempt from the minimum funds requirement, the offer of employment must be genuine, the employment must not part-time or seasonal, the wages offered must be consistent with the prevailing wage rate for the occupation, and the working conditions must meet generally accepted Canadian standards.

Hello,
The last message I've sent I've explained that the only document left to deliver was my husband's police certificate from one country where he had studied. The certificate arrived already last Friday so there is nothing else left for us except to wait for the passport request. The status of my e-cas is still showing "Medical results received" and address is missing. Does anyone know how much time they use to take to request the passports or to update to "decision  made" ? I can see lot of people in India is sending the passport with the medicals but they didn't ask me for that, only medicals and updated police certificates, everything is confirmed that is fine.
I appreciate all your comments and shares.
Good luck to everyone!

Dear Shahzad,
Thank u very much for ur good words and for advise regarding PPC.
Please accept my congratulations for your MR letter.
Yes, I did not visit UK even after 2009.
Which city u from?
Please inform me about ur PCC request, when u recieve ur courier.
Either VO ask u for PCC-UK or not!
Regards
Dear Discreet,
I did not submit any PCC from UK but only from Pakistan. There was no request for PCC-UK. I had recvd the call from courier on 4th Feb. It was collected by my consultant after 4 days since I was not in Karachi. I have gone thru the medical on 29 Feb and the receipts has been sent to London visa office along with PCC, updated supplementary forms. If you are from Karachi, I have a contact for PCC.
