Dear Awai,
Please help me with this -
I have reapplied my FSW 1122 application after falling short of cap last year.
I am a Pakistani National and my Visa Office is London and was born in the UAE
and reside here as well.
My question is:
Do CIC and London VO STILL require the original Birth Certificates of Pakistani applicants?
Since I do not have my Original UAE BC, I got the copy notarized and translated legally.
And in order not to confuse CIC, I did not send original BCs of my wife and daughter and hence
notarized their copies of BC as well.
Would this be accepted? However, I sent my original Marriage certificate.
Looking forward to your feedback.

Hi All, Don't be so tense guys  , let's enjoy your weekend and prepare yourself for next week because I believe that we will have PER bombardment  soon (should be in next week) and a few week later as well since we have many JUNE friends in this thread which received date from 7 JUN all the way to 10 JUN such as brav21, awai, paradise25,String11,jmora,tasneem,toronto_dream2 ..... good luck to you all  . I WISH you all get PER sooner or later. GOD HELP US ALL, |

1. CIC does not require original birth certificates but notarized copies. 2. its ok that you send notarized copies of your wife, daughter and it is requirement. 3. CIC, require only Notarized copies of marriage certificate if you send original no problem. 4. if you do not have original birth certificate of yourself but copy..........but you send the copy in the mean time you try to get original birth certificate because your visa office may ask for it.......... at the end what ever you did is right there is no need to worry............ feel free to ask more questions........ |

Well, lets talk about London VO - 1. After 18th July, 2011, do they still want the original BCs? The VO specific form E37023.pdf states originals. 2. I can't get the originals now because it was not issued immediately after birth - I have the my notarized & legally translated copy only. 3. My only concern is if London VO asks for my originals - is it very likely? 4. I have however, also sent them a notarized true copy of the original of - my name change notification published in a newspaper dated 1989, and officially stamped. My dob is 1983). WildernessFarout |
