I checked the thread for June 2012 applications. In one case it has taken more than 30 days. Looks like a long wait for July's cases payments to be cleared Sad

My friend received this email from CIO. Can seniors confirm if this is AOR?

Any future correspondence should be sent to the visa office as indicated on your application. Your reference (application) number is located below the date of this letter. You must quote this reference number in any future correspondence.
 
       This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated       in the amount of       Canadian dollars.  Your Payment Receipt No. is       .  Please keep a copy of this letter for your records and quote this number on all correspondence relating to application fees or refunds.
 
X         This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your Fee Payment Form IMM 5620 authorizing CIC to take payment of processing fees using the credit card details provided. I think it takes min of 30 days for the fee payment to be cleared and then another 2-3 weeks to get AOR.

yeah, this is AOR. congrats to ur friend. when did she/he applied??? They received mine on july 16th. i hope to get something soon. all the best to all of us Smiley Smiley

My friend applied in June and his documents were received on 28th June. The processing time appears to be 30 days approximately.

Hi, Do you know if his CC was charged?  Cos my application also reached Sydney on 28th of June...  My CC isnt charged...
