LOL OMG i am soooooooooooooo happy toooooooooooooo my box weighed almost 9-10kg too lol i feel so bad for the officer who has to go through our packages lol but at least they will come out happy with hopefully nothing missing

All of this talk is making me curious to see how much ours is going to weigh haha. We have loads of stuff that goes back as far as 2005, maybe even later I'm not even done going through all of the IM logs and such.  I'm trying to make it so that I don't have to send it all because I'm sure they don't want hundreds of pages of these, right? I planned on attaching a note that says we have more if they want more.

they probably don't want hundreds for pages....but having said that my husband is from Cuba, which is flagged for fraudulent marriages.....so we took the position more is better so 2.5 years of emails, phone bills, etc.........establsihing the progression of our relationship..........most of it boring....some of it eyeraising....

Haha taking the better safe than sorry route? I definitely thought about it but I also don't want to annoy them, after all, they are the one person who gets to say weather or not I'm allowed to life with my wife.  So my goal is to be thorough, but also try to make their job as easy as possible haha

exactly......so I probably could have increased my file size.....LOL.....but I cut back on the pictures believe it or not......and some emails........but I was happy with what I supplied and ultimately you need to be satisfied that you file is done the way you want so you feel that you have proved your case with no question......

Yea, I'm trying to cut back more on the boring stuff like emails and IMs and stuff.  Everyone likes looking through pictures so I don't think they'll mind those too much.  I agree though, in the end it's not actually done until you feel right about it and feel confident that it will be enough.

I had my medicals done in March, app sent in July... so I think I might take that from you! I had mine done for my work permit as I work with children, and then I had to wait for my LMO and work permit to come through before I could send in my PR app.
On a side note, there is an extension available for medical results if they expire before PR is processed as long as the expiration is the only thing restricting the VO from issuing approval. Not sure of the full details, but it might stop you from having to repeat them. There are more details of this in another thread.

It's making me wonder, too. We want to send lots of proof, since we met online and I assume they flag that as probable fraud  . We are sending comments we exchanged in the site we met (it wasn't a match.com kinda site, either!) in the form of pdf, skype logs, msn logs, international sms logs, and now we're figuring out a way to log the amount of emails and gchat conversations we've had... no way I'm sending the more than 500 emails!! I think we have about a 100 pages of written proof so far 
We're not sending too many pictures, though (we're counting around 50 right now, but we keep adding more pics). Well, at least I think that's not too many pictures 

Completing these forms and requirements is such a job! At least, I'm thankful my husband could come live with me to Chile for most of the time it'll take to process. I don't know what I would do if we had to be apart for such a long time again.

My wife sent me the application documents (parcel box: 9kg) from China to Canada and she paid courier postage of 280 CAD. She also sent me a envelope for the 2nd time (postage 40 CAD) because she forget some documents in her first parcel.

Most of the documents (80%) are e-mails and MSN chat record printout. We had engagement ceremony, wedding ceremony, honeymoon trip (to Saipan Island in Jan), and also a  wedding reception. So, even the photos of the above activities weighed 1.5kg.
