From the statistics of "May 2012 Applicants", it seems that CIC CPC-M handle our application in the way I cannot understand: first come last serve, and last come first serve.

seems like it... but isnt hair at all Angry Angry
they need a good system in place..its not fair for people who waited months and months and then people who only waited less than half the time of others get their AOR's and SP's... i pray for everyone to get their work done faster... but CIC should be fair to the ones who waited so long as well...they should be consistent with their dates of approving..that way everyone will be happy Smiley

Hi BobCanada,

Parcel box weighed 9-10 kg's (wow)! you realize that you don't have to send your first born as proof.  Cheesy
Now I feel a little inadequate with my almost 2kg's. Just kidding mate. Good luck with the process.
Cheers

I just worry that the CPC-M visa officer don't like to open my box because it is too heavy. Perhaps they chose lighter envelope to open and process. Sad

Oh, that would be great! It would save me the hassle (and the money...).

It's making me wonder, too. We want to send lots of proof, since we met online and I assume they flag that as probable fraud  Sad. We are sending comments we exchanged in the site we met (it wasn't a match.com kinda site, either!) in the form of pdf, skype logs, msn logs, international sms logs, and now we're figuring out a way to log the amount of emails and gchat conversations we've had... no way I'm sending the more than 500 emails!! I think we have about a 100 pages of written proof so far  Lips sealed
We're not sending too many pictures, though (we're counting around 50 right now, but we keep adding more pics). Well, at least I think that's not too many pictures  Huh

Completing these forms and requirements is such a job! At least, I'm thankful my husband could come live with me to Chile for most of the time it'll take to process. I don't know what I would do if we had to be apart for such a long time again.

We have well over 100 photos already so I sure hope it's not too much haha but we are just about done with those it's mostly sorting through the emails and stuff now. There are SO MANY there's no way we can send them all.  We met online as well but unlike you, we have no way of retrieving the messages we sent each other back that far, luckily we started emailing each other very soon after so there isn't too much of a gap there.

I definitely hear you on that though, we were in a long distance relationship for 6 years and once we finally got to be together in person it made being apart so much harder =( I hope that it doesn't have to last much longer.  You are lucky that he can come visit you while you wait, I'm sure that is a huge relief.

don't worry.....Mississauga/Ottawa only looks to make sure the app is complete....they don't have to go through the evidence...that's the VO's responsibility!!!!

stage 1 aor is the acknowledge of receipt of the sponsorship and application...this is currently taking approximately 93 days....sometimes more and sometimes less......after the aor comes your approval which is your approval for sponsorship only....the date of your approval is the day your file gets shipped out to your particular visa office....and then the file is in stage 2 and it is all about the application...waiting times for that vary on the VO

Smiley

God bless
