Hi to all here...  in this forum i was able to gather some very helpful advice before i got married last month Dec. 2, 2011.   Now im here again to seek more advices lol.  Just a short history about me,  I am annulled and was able to change my passport and all necessary documents before me and my husband got married last Dec. 2, 2011.  Now, will it be ok to use my single name (Maiden) name on our spousal application?  since all my documents (passport)  bear my maiden name or is it necessary to use my married name on our application?  I just had my medical exam recently at St. Lukes and they use my maiden (single) name since it's what's in my passport.

We hope to submit our application at the end of this mo. January.  I would really appreciate some advice here please...  Thank you and goodluck to all

Just a piece of advice, If I were you change your passport first before filling your application. Since that your already married to your sponsor you have to use his last name in all your documents. I did the same thing I went to SCTS Makati for my medical but I showed them my passport under my single status but during those time I'm a newly wed but still I told them that I wanted to use my husband last name.
After my medical they gave me the Copy 2 plus receipt showing my name and the last name of my hubby.
Because that Copy 2 you'll need to send the original copy to your sponsor and he will attach that in your applications no worries if all your applications or documents are the same using your husband's last name.

May 5, 2011- wedding
May 14, 2011- DFA set online reservation passport appointment and I got July
May 26, 2011- medical
May 28, 2011- went to CFO to attend seminar, DFA requirements before changing your last name in passport (for Canadian Citizen spouses)
July 11, 2011- my appointment date in DFA Macapagal Road
July 25, 2011- Passport delivered by AIR21

yes,as we have thesame situation as long as lahat ng annulment documents meron ka like decison,decree,nullity certication magagamit mo na ung dati mong ginagamit when ur single pa.dapat mag change status kna agad after makuha mo ung marriage cert nyo at punta ka sa nso for annotation ng luma mong MC.handa mo lahat ng annulment doc mo ung certified copy lahat original kukunin yan ng embassy sau

Hi brianmich,  may NSO copy nako ng annulled MC ko (with annotation) and even the complete decision(original) nasa husband ko na sa Canada.  May MC narin kami ng husband ko i am just waiting na lang sa advance endorsement para sa NSO copy ko.  My passport and remaining documents bearing my maiden name na,  so it's all ok kahit gamitin ko yung single (maiden) name ko ha.  Ang tagal kasi if i still have to wait for my new married passport (ka re-replace ko palang ng maiden ko), even my co. id is maiden name na.   The new marriage contract will supercede naman lahat ng documents ko with single name.

oo dapat gamitin mo na ung name mo lahat sa passport mo un ang gayahin mo ...dahil kompleto ka na naman lahat ng annulment doc.dapat ung family name na ng husband mo ngayon ang gamitin mo.

Hello po!! None at all pa rin pero still hoping before matapos ang week na to.  If you don't mind me asking, ano pala additional Documents ang nasa AOR or PPR nyo po? And ask ko na rin kung ganito rin ba ang nasa status mo?
 
We received your application for permanent residence on August 26, 2011.
 
We started processing your application on December 30, 2011.
 
Medical results have been received.

Gusto ko lang kasi icompare ang mga nangyayari sa processing ng mga applications nating mga August applicants. Thank you in advance sa reply nyo po. God bless us all always!! Everything is Possible when it comes to GOD!!

  Hello po sa lahat!! Konting dasal pa po talaga tayo at kung ano man po ang hinihintay natin darating din po ang lahat ng ito in "GOD's perfect time". waiting for visa is worst than waiting for PPR....Lord, have mercy on all of us....let us all be with our spouses...malapit na wedding anniversary ng husband ko, it makes the waiting much much worst....
