As I said, It tooks me 2 months and 1 week before I received my Passport Request Letter.
When I got home tonight I found the letter.
Don't be scared if you still don't have any letter coming from Manila Embassy.
and don't even compare your application to the other applicants it varies.
My timeline:
Sep 12 - Sponsorship Decision made
Oct 28 - File Transfer
Nov 8 - PPR Date of Letter
Nov 18 - Letter received
* Note: I don't see any problem with my application as they only requesting to fill in the Appendix A and the submit my passport. It took them forever to acknowledged my application.

oh sorry to hear that, why it take them so long...i send my passport to cem last nov. 2 and the date of issuance is nov 10, so i guess it took us so long to get the ppr but it takes almost 3 weeks for us to get the visa.....don't lose hope guys...keep praying and hoping |

Yes, It seems to take a very long time. The other issue is that they do not update ecas in a timely fashion. So we are blind as to what is the status of our files. They must be short staffed in Philippines. |

or maybe they are in a hurry to approved the old applicant because they have a new law updating the processing times for next year applicant and its year end... to end up backlog |

Just wondering if CEM only contacted you by mail? Did they ever e-mail you?
This is how we received the updates: DM of Sponsor - through email for my husband. PPR - through post-mail. (longest stage of waiting), they just asked for my passport & appendix A VISA - through DHL.(delivered at our home address). God Bless... May all of you have updates soon.. |

I assume that ecas never updated you either.
Yes, i experienced anxiety before because my e-cas was never updated, i never had the "in-process" & "DM" stage in the e-cas, i didnt expect that VISA will be come this soon... I'm very happy that soon i'll be with my husband... God is good at all times, my advise is continue praying and think that its in God's hands now... All of us here are included in my prayers... |

Sa mga nag COA po, how many hours po yun? is it whole day??? thanks... and sa mga kumuha ng sticker sa CFO (sa mga cases gaya ko na nag-counselling na sa CFO in advance due to change status in the passport, mabilis lng po ba yun??? at may babayaran pa ba ako ulit dun sa sticker na yun???
So ang mga kailangan lang po before umalis is COA and the CFO counselling and the sticker from CFO???
