Why you are waiting for that , you can get duplicate copy of IELTS result from the organization underwhich you gave IELTS test.

Jade, As I am going thru a similar situation, I contacted IDP for a second original and was told that they only send it to the college or institution - this wont work here as CIC do not entertain this route. The other option I found out from them is when the TRF is lost/stolen - then an original FIR, the passport copy , TRF copy is to be submitted to any IDP center with the fee for another test report form to be issued - On contacting the Police station , they mentioned that an FIR will not be lodged but instead a Enquiry report when certificates are lost - when I mentioned this to the IDP folks, they just repeated the script that they only accept an original FIR . Have you had any luck or know of anyone who has obtained a second original copy ? I think the rules are different if you have appeared for the test thru the British Council and not IDP. Sanity |

my docs were returned last may since cap was reached already. im noc 3113.
Westpoint , If your documents were already returned, why dont you use the IELTS original and submit an application for this year before time runs out ? Sanity |

Westpoint , Sorry , Im confused now. I was of the understanding that your application is with CIC hence you cannot submit a second appl as the IELTS original is with CIC . In your response, it says that CIC has returned the docs in the month of May as the cap was filled up - if you now have the returned docs, why dont you use it to file an application before the cap gets filled up again ? or have I understood you wrong ? Ahh that makes sense Westpoint - I think you have a solution here. According to the new checklist, it says a copy of the TRF form can be kept along with the CIC rejection mail copy and explain that it is 3+ months since the docs were returned and you havent recieved it - I reckon it should work. In btwm, how were you informed that the application was rejected and docs returned Is it via an email ? Could you provide the dates etc as this will be helpful to know ? I.e when did they recieve the application pack ? when was the rejection email send? when did they inform that docs were returned? Sanity |
