this immigration journey could drive us insane see? we become so stressed out even with the minute details of filling up forms and i guess it's true for most of us. the only thing we could do now if our docs are with CIO already is to relax, keep calm, pray and accept our faith. if things don't turn out positively for us, well it doesnt mean the door for immigration is already closed? the good thing is we can always apply again and again and again. 

just curious....if ever your docs are sent back to you....when is the right time to re apply? i understand Canada is using fiscal calendar which means june as their first month of the year...do we have to wait for another year to re apply or try again after a month?

I send my application according to the new forms . There is no checklist for visa office . They included visa office checklist (older one ) in 5612 checklist.Earlier I complited my application according to older forms but as I was going to post it on 19th July , I came to know about the new forms .Then I again compiled my application according to new instructions .Nice to know that we are from the same NOC. Try to send your application fast.If you have xerox copies of your original documents which you send to CIO earlier then try to get them notorized .Don't wait for your application packect , it may take time ,how much ? no one knows,. as some of people got it back after 3 months.When they send your application back ?

they sent it 3rd week of may. i do have an exact copy of the docs that i sent, however, what's preventing me from resending so quickly is the ielts copy, as it is only a photocopy?

we got certificate from bank and bank statement and that's what i sent. i only kept a photocopy for my file.

and also seeing many people getting impatient about their BD.

please note the bd usually gets charged by around two weeks. and for some banks it also takes around 3-7 days to update their home country systems. so it might be possible for many that their bd has been charged but their banks are still not updated.

so just start checking with banks only after 15 days from the date when your application was received.

you can always re-apply so long as you meet the requirements and have the necesary documentations AND the noc ur applying at has not reached cap

So its clear now.
They are now processing files which were received on the 6th of July.
So 187 received upto 5th of July.
So no chance to get in the cap for me.....

there is a saying, what the mind conceive it achieves. for now do not think negative like u wont reach the cap. focus on the positive side. otherwise ul only be stressing urself and it wont be good. remember, there's 500 of it and it's only 187, so let's just wait and see, relax and pray

Val_kir's credit card was charged on 27th July.. That's also the same day caps were updated on the cic website.. So there is also a chance he is among the 187.. Cheer up ravi! If God wills, you may even be the 500th applicant chosen...  It's all as per His will, you did your part and now is the time to be calm and patient.. Atleast try to.. :-) this is what I say to myself.
