Your time of applying is post July'11 (MI3). If/if not 1122 remains on the list of occupations ,will in no way affect your application .
Applications are processed according to the rules in effect at the time of applying. Go ahead with your baby plans. Good luck.

Thanks RKC. I would be absolutely devastated if they then refused us visas post July 2012 when new rules came into effect. It does make sense that applications are processed according to the rules in effect at the time of applying, like you stated.

ScottishK, thanks thanks.  Yeah it's a great feeling of relief more than anything else.  Eligibility Assessment is the one stage in the process with a built-in element of subjectivity that can potentially derail an otherwise good application.  That is why I am happy to be over it.  I think the processes that come after a PER are mainly procedural.  It is like I am now President-elect, waiting to be proclaimed, and hoping I don't get hit by a truck in the meantime. hahaha.  I hope everything works out for all of us, especially those who want this from deep within their gut.

  It's exciting, and a big relief; everyone here on this forum is well aware of how much effort is put into these applications, and the worry we endure as the weeks go on and we wait for key updates. It's madness how peoples' lives are put on hold for this whole process! Although I suppose the trick is to somehow find a way to keep living as normally as possible.

For those who have not heard yet or have had PER or other negative news, if you really want this, you know you won't give up and you WILL find a way. I got PER a couple of years ago but was so determined to make this happen. There are lots of tips on how to make good applications, the top 5 common mistakes applicants make etc. Get trusted sources to sense check your app, make sure you include clear explanatory notes etc. Or look into different programmes other than FSW. You can all do this if you really want it. Best of luck.

First congrats to all of new PER receiver.
I just received my package back which was received on july 21st
now the thing is that the they mention the reason for returning is not accepting my proof of birth certificate. They have mentioned thayt please include an affidavit stating that a birth certificate can not be obtained please also include the reason why the birth certificate cannot be obtained.
Now seniors and experts please help me out This is my 3rd time, fist time lacked 1 points lack of not accepting relationship with my uncle ic canada, 2nd time cap filled and now this..... I am in USA so had got a written document from Embassy indicating my birth date with my parents name with support to my passport, as of during my time there was no system of getting  birth certificate( home delivery) in most of the developing country.
Please help me how do i get this affidavit..... this will be my last try...

once you have a delivery status sent to you by your courier and the receiver's name with date and time, then it would make it easier to search. make appropriate complain, probably the person that searched didnt search properly or omitted your file or something, if the whole package were signed by one person, then it should be there.
note that some earlier posts on this forum got responses from cic that they've not received their file but "due to large volume of submission" their file must still be on the queue or something like that.
dont take it with levity and dont sleep over it, this cic people cannot be played with any fickleness, reply again with your info, delivery status and all you deemed necessary and cced or mailed straight to a higher authority, then they all gonna get cold feet and fish out your file!

Yes you are right, these ppl dont take things seriously, similar case happened to my friend he submitted few original docs but when they finalized the case they didnt send any original doc to him when he contacted the VO they said they dont have check with Missisauga office when he contacted Missisauga office they said they dont have check wit VO again he contacted VO they replied we already told you that we dont have check with Missauga office they were literally playing with him then he sent a very strict letter to the CIC minister with all the correspondence he had with VO and misssauga after few months VO contacted him and told that we have sent you the original doct to your address pls note the tracking number.

so you keep trying and write to the minister.

It is amazing and the person didnt want to sign the email. I have the proof of delivery already so I will try to express this ineptitude to the right person.
