we will be creating a system of pre-assessment of the education, and eventually of the professional qualifications, of applications for immigration to Canada.
It's an idea that we will be copying essentially from Australia, where we will invite applicants to go to a recognized body and to get an evaluation of the qualitative evaluation of their education and their relevance to the Canadian labour market and then, in turn, if they want to work in the licensed profession, go to the national body of that licensed profession in Canada for a pre-assessment. They would still have to get their license in Canada, but at least they would know at the immigration stage whether or not they have a fair shot at getting to work in their licensed profession.

Mr. Engineer - Thnx for highlightng the important paragraph, infact i was searching for it n was unable to locate it.... Posted dis to inform dat may b dis time (AS PER THE SPEECH BY JK) they r trying to b more flexible n requestng professionals to pre-assess their credentials to serve them better..... more over they r clear dat they r returning the back-log applications n askng dem to re-apply... they r gng to pik the eligible candidates during the process time n process their application faster.... they r reducing the wait time to 1 year (may be even less).....

Congratulations! Rehan. Regarding vaccination get it done from your pediatrician. You also need an immunization certificate or signed & stamped vaccination report from the doctor while registering kids in school.

this can be translated by any person except family member, oath and signed by translator in the presence of oath commissioner. Translation of documents Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by: the English or French translation; and an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and a certified copy of the original document. Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit. Important information. Translations by family members are not acceptable.

hay drea ASMB , its shown due date : **** , am sure their is some fixed dates under each coulmn specially medical last words is due date !!!
Hi rKo, In that case my due date shows 12 Oct 2012. But I don't think this is the same as BFD (bring forward date). Because this the same date that appears for all headings - Medical, Security, Criminality, etc. Besides I feel this is an automatic update field as it is exactly one year from create date. My file was created on 12 Oct 2011 as mentioned on the notes. I don't want to believe that my file won't reach the visa officers desk before this date. Hema Malini style "Nahiiiiiiiin" (Ignore that if you are not familiar with Bollywood's yesteryears dream girl) One thing noticed is that my wife's name is spelt incorrectly. Now I am wondering if I should write to them now and get it corrected before they prepare the Medical Forms or should I wait till I receive the MR. ASMB
