@ YH my friends case is similar to mine...he sent hiis PP and dd seprately,,and after having e-mailed them with scanned copies of delivery receipts he got a response in 15 days via email confirming that his PP has been received...
Oh ok. I have been thinking about your case since morning. Here's what my conclusion is. They were looking for your application to stamp your Visa since your DD was already encashed (as you are aware all our friends here whose DD were encashed have rcvd DM) and found that your passports are missing. So they immediately sent you the mail. In the meanwhile they haven't yet opened your package containing your passports. They will do it coming week, and I am sure you will rcv an update from them saying they have rcvd your PPs. And you needn't fear that your Visa might be delayed beyond 5th July. They will start processing your application back again as soon as they find your PPs. Cheers |

yes its done...full and final come on NOW you and YH both have to arrange everything... (Including Bride too  ) and venue for the wedding is been fixed in well advance and for dinner also the hotel is been booked All forumites are welcome now only thing pending to do is finding a bride that's your responsibility YH and NOW.. Well...well.......good choice!! |

At the speed my case is moving, Wandering soul will have 2 kids at least by the time I get there, if ever  I know how you must feel...it is disheartening at the rate applications are moving at LVO. Don't worry my DD hasn't been encashed until yday evening, so mine is going at a slow pace too |

HI GUYS ... Please I need help.. I am from Syria, I applied on 1122 on August, they send my application Back due to Cap Reached on Nov. 23. 2011.. Its March 25,2012 i still did not receive anything, my original IELTS report, and a certified check of 1100 CAD, in addition to other original paper. when I asked them they said that they can't help as they sent my application back via regular mail, and there is no tracking nuumber... I am calling post office every day, and there is nothing for me. Any similar situation  ?, where it took more than 4 months ... Thank you |

There have been cases where its taken months for the package to reach them. Dont you worry. In the meanwhile I suggest you start gathering your originals (IELTS and Work Exp Letters) so that youa re ready to apply in July. Send in your application by end June so that it reaches CIC by 1st or 2nd of July. This time the CAP was closed for your NOC on 7th July. |

Oh i just noted that under your profile tooo...
So what's your plan and in what form you would like to take funds with you .... BD, Bank Statement , TC ....OR if there is anyother mode ...then let us know
I am a single applicant, i would be taking 4000-5000 CAD along with me and rest of the money I would show in my Indian bank account in SBI which has existence in Canada as well Will also take a statement and a certificate from bank stating the total balance and its equivalency in CAD and it can be withdrawn in any SBI branch in Canada anytime.... |
