I guess you haven't heard from anyone on this thread as no one might have signed up with them. I suggest you post your query onto the main forum thread for responses to come in.

By they way, I would like to point out that the immigration process has been made very simple now. It is also very transparent and the CIC website very very informative and highly comprehensive. You might take a moment to go through this link I have provided below and make a decision of going with an agent or doing it yourself. Also if you are stuck with anything all of us are here to help you out, to guide you.


Many of us here have applied on our own, thanks to the wonderful CIC website and to the remarkable people in this forum who selflessly helped us, whenever we were stuck.

Though unsolicited, I would also like to point out that many of our friends here have had severe problems owing to carelessness and ineffiency of their agents/lawyers/consultants. There have been friends whose application have been returned due to lack of knowledge of some consultants. I don't mean to scare you. But all I am saying is that 'if you must employ a consultant, please choose your consultant very carefully".

wow great news. NDVO back on MI-3

Hey Abhi,
I dont think they ever stopped working on MI3 applicants. And i think they would have certain number of people working on MI!,2 and 3 applicants simultaneously. then depending on the priority or instructions from the minister, they would assign more people to a certain MI section.
The feeling I get is that they go about it in batches of 25-50. You know irrespective of the application date, most of the people on this forum got their MR around 20th Feb.
So i guess most of us are a part of a group And  most of us will also get the next process almost together.
This is just my inference from the timelines of the forum members. I maybe wrong though.

if you see the past 2 weeks after 10th march, there was not even a single news from NDVO regarding visa stamping, dd encashment.

and not even AOR or MR for the people who are still waiting for them....

We can never predict the trend NDVO use, becoz everytime we try to understand a trend, NDVO changes it completely.. So just hoping everything to go well..
Just waiting for the good news for everyone including me...

You are right no one has received it because they do it in batches. See all the MR requests also came in a cluster. It included people from August to November. But you are right that NDVO changes its trnd from time to time and we can only hope to guess what they are doing.  None of us know for sure.
Lets hope for the best at the earliest.

Seniors, i sent an email to our agent who is dealing with our case. It's been 5 months since PER and we are using LVO. Can i please have your thoughts on this as the agent's reply is not good news regarding timelines. Thanks.

In regard to when we next hear from CIC. You will not receive a decision around 3 – 5 months, you will get an acknowledgement from London office that they have received your application from Nova Scotia to start processing it only. The acknowledgement receipt letter will say do not contact them for another 12 month when we receive it, so there is still a really long wait.
 
I have  the Nova Scotia case number from when they wrote to say your application was eligible and  they would be sending it to London.

It usually takes a while to hear from them, I am not surprised as  they have major backlog. When London eventually writes they  will give a new case number for the London office. I  will send a message to London follow up.

Dear Abhishek how was your CIIP session as i am also attending it in Chandigarh on 27 march. Do they start exactly at 8:45am? Do they provide breakfast/ lunch or you have to make your own arrangement?

CIIP session was great bro. Everyone must attend it, they start 15-20 mins late, and only thing u will get there is water/coffe.. arrange ur own food, they do provide breaks.....
