hi i applied for immigration this jan i got confirmation that i am final eligibility confirmation they gave me an application num on the canada immi website its written in status section as "in process" okay so what is the next thing i should wait for?? second thing i am changing my job, as well as my current address i m going to usa for studies for 2 years what should i do now  very confused  Congrats on getting PER and welcome on aboard. Now. to your questions, If your visa office is new delhi then you should wait RPRF/MR/PPR next. if you belong to any other visa office then you should wait RPRF/MR. And it is advised that if you have changes in address and/or job and/or marital status and/or birth of new baby or death (God forbids). You must inform your visa office ASAP with updated documents. Hope it solves your problem now. Note: MR= Medical Request RPRF = Right of Permanent Resident Fee PPR = Passport request. |

i already send new passport only and it reached there on 2nd feb. they have mentioned in the covering letter that to send valid passport for me ,my spouse and my kid. advice me what to do now? shijoal |

I guess that shouldn't be a problem. I remember, in a scenario where they weren't asked specifically for old/invalid passport along with the new/valid ones , quite a few post June 2010 applicants who had only sent their current valid passport were granted visa without issues. |

Hi Friends,
Following is what it says on PPR. I am confuse with (old & new) passport. Is that mean the expired passport ? I have 1 expired one and the 1 renewed one. Do I have to send both?
- Valid passport or travel document yourself and Spouse/Common-law partner. Kindly
provide us with all the passports (old & new) after completion of all the pending
requirements. This must be received at this office by: xx/xx/xxxx

what are the chances to see anyone at Canada immigration office regarding my Medical? I sent them email, fax and post regarding my consultant problem... they said they have forwarded my request to the relevant department. I an am still waiting for medical. my status has change to we started processing your application on 3rd feb 2012. still no medicals.
I do not have much time as I believe i might have received medical by email on my consultant's email which is not checked properly.
They agency says they have not received anything but I can not believe this. I heard Canada wont give second chance in case we miss the medicals....
can i go and meet them at new delhi? i dnt have time for mail or faxes for now...
Hope some one guide me ... thnx

I was thinking I will have to start off a new life without friends and family...but in this thread I found them all. And with friends and family comes all this responsibility. Look for brides, patch up BFs and GFs, arrange for baby showers....phewwww......but I am not complaning  I love these kind of responsibilities, I thrive on them actually  and you sure are on the list my buddy! |

Thx for the plus one , Its good to have someone to help out when you land. Luckily, one of my friends is travelling back there before me and I trust him to rent a house for me (it is the only thing that the CiIP poeple will not help you with). Other than that we are fully covered. BTW, you will need insurance for the family as the soon as you land as the health benefits do not start in Toronto till 3 month after the landing. MAKE SURE YOU ARE COVERED! Oh and plus 1 back at you! Wow...you are a goldmine of information Big Bro. Thanks yet again. Yes I shall discuss this with my hubby and make sure we are covered. Don't want to run all our money down on medicals (if an emergency shows up!). Thanks for adding to my "achievements" |

Ture, you will be turned away from the gates by the security at the VO if you land there without a visit request letter they give you. The only open channel of communication is by email or FAX. |
