Hi Friends,

CIC had received my application on 11.07.2011 and i had a Bank Draft...............payment has not been encashed yet.................i just want to ask that whether any body had his or her DD encashed....................

they have been working on the 6th applications for a while now, how many do you guys think they get each day?
and if they are going at a rate of about 35 applications a day will they ever reach the applications sent on the 8th?

I think we will hear news from 6,7 and 8th of July applicants only at this points, yours will probably be on the next update.

I am also a masters graduate but with only one year hospital experience. I was confused because other agencies, i know of two, consider  clinical instructor experience. I guess CIC is correct about this.

Yeah, maybe they are correct...
But as I've said don't rely to much on them..

Do you believe that all the 365 applications  are from the first 5 or 6 days of July? Why have they kept the qouta open until now, when what they have to do with the remaining is just open each one of them put them into different envelopes and send them back?

they have to keep the cap open till they officially charge all 500 CC/BD.

Doesnt make any sense atall..............as other NOC were also charged till 6th...which do not have such influx of applications.Last year they charged application after two moth of recieveing it.

Even mine reached on the 28th last year, the count on the website on the 25th was 865, the remaining 135 was filled in 1 week ie by Nov 5th. Why are they waiting 4 weeks this year? You can also see in last year's data that even the application on the 27th got through..The returned once were applications from 28th oct through to Nov 5th... I do not want to dispute, but if your hypothesis is correct then we are going to see a situation where they have accepted apps until 7th or 8th of July and send back apps from 9th of July through to may be 12th Apr(the date I presume this year's CAP is going to close). Let's all hope that this is not going to be case.

Hello to everyone.

I just came back from short vacation and found out that my CC got charged for 1100 CAD on friday, 05.08.2011.

It took them 1 month to charge my CC. I was really nervous, but it seams that document's were ok and put in order as they should be.

I assume you mean 12th August, not 12th Apr?

You may well be right. But also do not forget that probably the payment slip is sent to accounts after the completeness check is done, at the same time the rest of the file is sent to the visa officer for eligibility review. If there is any kind of delay or backlog in the accounts department due to staff being on holiday etc, then this could lead in a delay between the completeness check being finished, and the processing fee being cashed.

The only way we will know for sure is when someone reports having their application returned because the cap is full. So guess we'll just have to see what happens after CIC publish that the 500 cap is full (probably that will be by the end of next week at the latest)

somebody please update the spreadsheet, there are two more applicants whose payments are done but not yet updated in the spreadsheet.

when you say complete applications received, does it mean that it has been approved already? or does that just mean that these applications has just been charged for processing?
