after 18th July 2011 onwards, there is NO specific visa office requirements/checklist, everything has been included in the CIO grand checklist unless otherwise stated.

that's one of the signs they haven't sent it yet u know it's very easy to give the tracking no. if it's availble, right?

Not all agencies are like that you know...mine were extremely helpful and they shared with me a lot of information that I wouldn't have know if it wasn't for them (although I have done my fair share of researching before I hired them). I would have applied last year and missed the cap by 2-3 days if it wasn't for them hence the money I am paying is well invested.

I guess it is a matter of research and luck before you hire an immigration consultant, and I am a good researcher and have great luck

Yes, there are exceptions. I guess it's more a matter of luck than research. We too did our fair amount of research before hiring them. You were plain lucky.

Work experience is the most important  & scrutinized part of the whole file as we are applying under FSW.
The other selection factors are as they are & comparatively easy to  evaluate.

These agencies do shabby job & charge you a bomb just to tell which documents we need (checklist) , some filling up of forms & the courier. That's all  they do.

Many a times they don't even do this much correctly.

majority maybe are like that, but to be fair there are agency who really do well, in my case, well i'll just keep on trying and trying and trying till there's nothing else to try haha

I admire your persistence Westpoint. Poeple who wants to be there that bad should be allowed in without any documentations or proofs on the base of patriotism. They don't know what they are missing if they don't allow you in budy.

i guess that's how life should go buddy, we shud persevere in getting what we want in life no matter how hard and difficult it maybe for if we stop then we will achieve nothing, thanks for the admiration though, may it serve that way to others too and help them pursue what they want and not give up so easily...take it slow, think logically, double check everything and prayers of course.

"Documentation submitted with your application will not be returned. You should obtain multiple originals of any documentation submitted with your application (such as reference letters, police certificates) so you are prepared if you need to submit a new application. ""

Document submitted with your application will not be returned. It does not matter at what stage of the application you are. So, the issue of document number not given does not come in place.

Now according to updated instruction guide,
Incomplete app will be returned minus the documents.

 may i know ur timeline.
Same thing happened to my application ,first i passed the completeness test and got my payment processed. 2nd, did not pass the eligibility review, but till now didn't get my payment refunded nor my documents back.
when was  ur application received by CIO
when was it returned and date of ur payment refunded?
What was ur mode of payment?

i last submitted my docs when i was with my agency last week of December 2010,cc charged 1st week of January or 2nd week, then March 2011 found to be not eligible. result w/c was sent through email to my agency was March 11.

Here's what i did when agency forwarded to me the msg from fsw. I sent CIO  a letter informing them that i am the PA, i am cancelling my  @ #$%^&* agency so all correspondences should be course to the new email add. i likewise inquired if i will get back my documents and payment. then their reply was: my payment  will be refunded to the cc that i used but not my documents.

Now here is another dark side to my  @ #$%^&* agncy, when i inquired with them when i will get back my processing fee as i will no longer seek another application (since they were convincing me to resubmit and will give discount, i was worried they will not give me back my PF, So i just told them that i wont apply anymore but i planned to submit on my own since i've learned a lot), they said i will get it around May since CIO has not returned it to them yet???

what i did? i emaild cio again re: processing fee refund. luckily they responded swiftly saying my processing fee has been returned March 17, just a week after they found me ineligible!!!! see?!?! then around mid last week of june i told my  @ #$%^&* agency that i have been told that my fee has been with them since MARCH 17 and they said they will give it to me 1st week of MAY once it is credited to their acct coz it will have clearance blah blah blah. NOW, WOULD U TRUST THIS KIND OF  @ #$%$^&* AGENCY AGAIN? NO WAYYYY!!!!

yeah i was wondering abt the lost of vo specific list too, for us Manila vo it has disappeared too. Is it the same with the other VOs?

What about an application that was sent well before 18th of July but got delivered to CIO after 18th? Which date do they consider? The date of signing on the app or the date of delivery?
