Hey guys,

I think we should also get connected on facebook and gtalk chat as well... so can we can recognize each other with faces and its a good way to stay in touch in future as well.... And we can ask for help or advise anytime...

And after reaching there we will be the only people who will be familiar with each other and can share the knowledge faster and in a much convenient way...

I  believe its a very good option to know each other by face and by interacting more we can create a good friend circle even before going there....

What is your opinion guys........??

hehe.  Thanks boozer.  It's a relief to finally confirm the VO has no veto power over CIO. haha.  For a while i thought the VO might overturn the PER issued by CIO.  I can't stop hating philpost though.  As a management consultant, my work involves a lot of thinking about cutting fulfillment times and other inefficiencies.  One look at the post office and I have ten gazillion ideas on what needs improvement.  Deym.

That is my worry right now that VO Manila might reverse CIO's decision giving me PER, your confirmation, in a way uplifts my spirit.. I'm a bit tensed but I know I have to be patient and I'm really praying hard..  I can do nothing  but to wait for my agency to inform me that im up for medicals...........( I hope so!) Don't hate me, I must say I love Filipinos, I'm proud for being one but i hate the system, philpost included..hehe.. Goodluck to you, I hope ours will come soon..

Just got back home.  My replies in one go:

Fazeme:  Thanks.  Not a lot of shouting happened.  I had to make phone calls to get the medical exam scheduled.  As of right now, I am done with the tests and will just wait for the results.

Russell: Only 6 months left before the next intake.  See you in Canada in late 2012 or early 2013.  Or find a way to go earlier via the PNP or FSW2.

SmGrGe: Thanks.  You are next.  Enjoy your vacation.  Btw, you can try to send an email inquiry.  I hope your VO is friendly.  Mine certainly wasn't.

Your Highness: I just came back from medicals and the doc said I shouldn't be dancing until after 2025.  Since you are interested in the gory details, here's  what my medicals were about: They took my blood, they asked me to pee in a bottle, they photographed my chest, they asked me to read a tiny little sign from 27 million kilometers away, they wanted to know if I do drugs and if I have multiple sex partners, they asked me about how my ancestors died (in the war of 1812, of course), and showed me a list of 18 diseases that may kill me if I don't tell the truth, they asked me to raise my hands, stand on one foot, and cackle like a chicken, and then they asked me to lie down.... and this was when all the poking started.  Be scared.  Be very scared. hahaha

Luckymystery: The postman needs to get another job where he can be useful to society.  hehe    I am worried about the next step, PPR.  I hope PPRs are sent via courier and not regular mail.

Mang: Thank you.  How did your medicals go?  I went through the med tests this morning.  I was poked in many different places. haha

Forcabarca8, Alexchristi, Boozer24: Oops.   I wasn't making a general statement.  I was just happy that the Manila VO is done reviewing my case, and now only need to see my kidneys, my spleen, and my bank account.  Like you, I am still not in the clear.  They can change their minds anytime.
