What is the difference between PER and PR??

PER --------> Positive Eligibility Review
PR  -------->  Permanent Resident

lets put it this way that we all over here are applying for a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa
And the first step in that is getting a PER....

i have work experience of social work of 10 years in the field of formers to improve their medical conditions , under my NGO , a no. of dispensiries are running to improve the health of formers
i want ro apply under social works 4152
my question is if i apply in 10 days there is chance to fall in cap
and any body can guide me to write my job descriptions
and other things which are necessory to consider please i will be thankfull to you.

u got a chance n great one too. file ur application quickly. for a starter here are the job description for Social workers given by hrsdc:
Social workers perform some or all of the following duties:

Interview clients individually, in families, or in groups, to assess their situation and problems and determine the types of services required
Provide counsel and therapy to assist clients in developing skills to deal with and resolve their social and personal problems
Plan programs of assistance for clients including referral to agencies that provide financial assistance, legal aid, housing, medical treatment and other services

Physiotherapy is a regulated prof. in Canada, so every PT must clear his/her PT licence exams before working as a PT in Canada.
Ur Prof. is not regulated so its very easy  for u to get a job in yr field after some bridge courses.
