Hi Guys

Please help me out with my query. My visa office is new delhi and i am expecting my medical and passport request soon since new delhi has started issuing these requests. The problem is that I am in Canada already on work permit, so how will I send my passport to New Delhi? Is that legal to send passport via fedex/ postal services?
My second question is how much time does the Visa Office give us to send the required documents?

Hello All,
I have received my MR less than 30 minutes ago.
I cannot describe my happiness so I won't say anything.

I got it through snail mail. It is dated 23rd of November, whilst my ecas line says that they have started processing my application on the 22nd of Nov.

I am one step closer to our White Christmas! Love u all

When I called CIO today(again) I asked for my client number. The guy just gave it to me...

You can send it via Fedex/courrier service but it will be returned to you via snail mail which will take time and is not very safe.
try to send it to one of your relatives who will hand deliver it and receive it for you and then courrier it back to you.

what is the difference between Client ID Number/Unique Client Identifier and Immigration file number/Application number

what do we receive usually along with PER? Are they given at a different stages of processing? pls comment on this.

At this point of the process, there is no difference whatsoever, both numbers will allow you to log into Ecas.
You will receive both numbers with your PER.

Dear Friends,

I am in a trouble, please help me out.
Last week I got the intimation about my medical, landing fee and Saudi Police certificate and today I got the parcel. In this requirement police certificate has to be for me and my wife and it also says that the person has to be the resident.
On the other hand last month on 5th November I sent my wife on final exit from Saudi Arabia and I was also planning to leave my job by January as I got a better offer from another company in Saudi Arabia. Currently I am resident of SA, whereas my wife is no more a resident.
During this time last 1st december I got medical and now the original documents are showing that the person has to be a resident. You know the rules of Saudi Arabia and this certificate has to be first stamped by ministry of foreign affairs and then it will go to Police headquarters.
Please advice as I am stuck, even if I call her on visit visa (still she won't have resident permit (Iqama)). On top of this all these documents have to be submitted within 60 days, out of which 15 days have already passed.

On my turn I have got my UCI and it's written In PROCESS- we received your application for permanent residence on September 6, 2011.

What does that mean??

The In Process status usually indicates a PER! In all cases it is a Very good news and it will be cleared soon by an email from CIO.

When i check it, the status shows IN PROCESS - We received your application for permanent residence on September 12, 2011.


Can i expect a PER based on this or are there still chances for an NER too??? pls advise.

As per FEDEX, my application was delivered on Sep 09, but on ECAS it says Sep 12.

IN Process is always a good sign, yes you can expect an email with your PER.
This delay in delivery of file is becoming very common.
