she said my application received exactly by the office in 6th of septembet but fedex delivered my kit in 2nd of september

Oahh...Melkhatib...thats a very disturbing news. OMG!! Did she give you no detail at all? I cant believe that CAP for 3131 was over by 2nd...or even 6th for that matter.
Would you be able to apply for Quebec or PNP?
By the way I have noticed the Bbhandari's appl as per Fedex was rcvd on 3rd Sep, but as per CIC on 6th. Now Melkhatib's appl was rcvd on 2nd as per courier and 6th as per CIC.Where is the gap? DId they have a string of holidays around that time?

jijitipie ...try to manage without touching your POF. As possie said you will need them at the time of landing.
Guys, please do not forget that we will be moving there and we have no jobs, no houses, and no "connections". Be very carefull when dealing with money matters. We will need our funds to survive untill we find a suitable job (which may not easy) or till we understand and know the market well enough to open a business of our own! I don't want anyone to pass the immigration process exam to fail the Canadian life exam. Keep your money safe for now, Keep the investment urge within you and unleash it when you start your new life in Canada. |

In fact I would go a step further to say we should carry as much money we can ,especially families with young kids. The POF they are asking us to show is minimal the actual cost of living may/will be higher. To top that the uncertainty factor involved in securing a proper job in your field. Many times I really think about how to make this transition smooth & successful for each one in the family. Also frankly, one of my main concerns is Canada's ultra cold weather. Every day I check temperature in Toronto & get petrified . Perhaps I could use some advise from alain he already bought his overcoat.  |

Many NDVOs- CAS statuses get updated on Sundays too. I don't think it should matter much. |

I am so sorry but you know someone once said to me, someone is looking after you, things happen for a reason. So have your papers ready and recheck them to reapply next year which is around the corner like a lot of people have done and they made it. Do not loose hope!!! |

Today I called CIO asking for my application the answer was:
Your Application was returned in 28/November/2011
but she did not mention what's the reason of returning as she said there is a cover letter sent with your application.
Good luck to all guys especially for other pharmacists.
Sorry to hear about your file Melkhatib. Don't give up, your NOC will always be there, just be ready to resubmit a new file (taking into consideration the rejection reason) as early as possible next July. 3131 closed quickly this year, so there will be others with files ready to be submitted/resubmitted. The good news is that next year you will defenetly be a priority for CIO under the all new MI4. |
