Dear Friends,
i am a telecom consultant and living in Dubai, UAE. I have applied for Temporary Resident Visa after getting a sponsorship from a Canadian Recruiting company. They have sent me a sponsorship and asked me to use representative. My NOC is 9990.7, i have submitted all the required documents dated 12th june along with Demand Draft (DD).
Now even after 8 weeks i have not received any feedback from Canadian Immigration in Abu Dhabi.
Now i urgently need my passport but as per my representative i have sent my original passports along with the documents. I have tried a lot sending repeated emails at abu-dhabi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca, but to no avail. i dont find any other channel other then sending my emails, but even after 10 days, i have not received my passport.
I have a personal commitment in my home country and need to urgently travel back, but i cant go since my passports are stuck in Canadian Immigration office in Abdu Dhabi.
Can some expert help me as how to get my passsport urgently.

Come on grim reaper. I will give you one more push to be optimistic.The questions is why CIC receiving applications till now if they had enough appplications to process till 7th july.One more positive thing is that last year lag of one week was visible as last applicant made within cap was 28th October 2010 while Cap was announced on 5th Nov.This year year how come CIO is keeping lag of more than one month.Its not realistic by the standard of CIO to mislead people for so long.When CIO can easily communicate that complete applications received till 7th July is 419..Come on grimreaper all is not lost.  longhandle.. Buddy u r correct; I don't only hope but I am confident with your thoughts.. We all aspiring immigrants must have confidence and faith on system of da country; for which we are very eager to be in.. All is well...rest assured ..all guys and gals till 10 th august are in.. Cheers.!! |

that's kinda hard to determine where your application would fall in. i think the cap's already closed cos of pending mailed ones waiting to get scrutinized, no hope lost tho. good luck! |
