The ECAS website mentions my PR status as "In Process". We have received your application for Permanent Residency on July 19, 2011.

Does it means that the Buffalo VO office has receieved my application on 19th Jul, 2011 or is it by CIO, Nova Scotia. I had receieved the PR Application Number on Oct 19, 2011.

Yest. I received below communication from Buffalo VO. As they have not specified the completion date of processing my application, is it thing to be worried. My NOC is 0213.

Hi Friends,

Any Ideas when will I get the "DM" ? Medical was received on 5th of March, 2012. My passport, proof of medical, and other documents was delivered to NDVO on 30th of March, 2012. I got medical results received line on 19th of April, 2012.

Any guess would be highly appreciated.

It means your application reached Nova Scotia.

With your application number have you also got your PER (Positive Eligibility Review)?

The communication that you got is quite standard. Nothing to worry at this point. Your background checks etc must be going on now. Please remember that Buffalo VO is rather slow...so there might be a bit of delay (Follow NKKD Hortons timelines...you will get a clear picture). Infact this communication establishes the fact that your application has successfully reached Buffalo VO and is under porcess right now! So this is a good news actually, coz people have waited months just to know if their application has indeed rchd the VO.

Hi everybody.today received email from vo that they require fresh pcc in order to process.don,t understand why they had not asked before...my pcc with them is going to expire in july..they sent me mail on 12th of may ,dath te on letter issuance is also 12th may and they r asking me to submit them by 11th of may,2012..what to do........they did mistake in giving the deadline,i guess..folks..

OUCH...another delay...phew.

Anyway the good thing is, you know your application is moving, and soon you will see your DM and Maple leaves

P.S. Yes...that most definitely is a typo. However do mention it in a cover letter when you send your PCC. Nowadays (depending on which city your passport was issued from) many major cities have PSKs (Passport Seva Kendras) where you can get your PCC in a matter of hours. Find out if you have one in the sity that issued you passport.

Hi ! I have the same situation , so seems we have got into slow process in some visa offices. My application filed on 8th of July 2011 , PER issued on 28th of Sep. and since 9th of October my e-Cas system shows the same message as yours. The only difference is that till last Thursday even I did not know where is my case processed because after the turmoil in Syria and closure of Damascus VO , all files moved to Ankara VO but the problem is that the new office does not update the e-Cas system and there is no clarity on case status.
